국문 초록

본 연구는 복합쇼핑몰 개발이 지역에 미치는 영향 유형을 파악하고, 정책적 차원의 개발적합성 검토를 위해 파급효과의 상대적 중요도를 평가하는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적에 따라 파급효과 유형을 도출하고 전문가 설문을 활용한 AHP분석기법을 통해 영향효과의 상대비교와 중요도를 도출하였으며, 산업연관분석에 의한 경제적 효과분석을 병행하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 지역경제에 미치는 복합쇼핑몰 영향은 긍정적 효과와 부정적 효과가 모두 존재하며, 둘째, 방문객 증가로 인한 지역소비지출 증대와 같은 관광효과가 긍정적 영향 중 상대적으로 가장 클 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 대규모개발에 따른 교통혼잡 증가는 부정적 영향 중 가장 중요한 요소로 인식되었다. 전체적으로 복합쇼핑몰의 긍정적 효과가 부정적 효과에 비하여 월등한 것으로 인식되고 있으며, 파급효과의 상대적인 중요도 평가방식은 대규모 개발을 위한 정책적 의사결정과 갈등관리에 유용한 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The object of this paper is to examine the effects of suburban entertainment center on regional economies and to quantify the importance of the effects for evaluation development policies. (2) RESEARCH METHOD For the purpose of this study the positive and negative effects of entertainment shopping mall are compared and evaluated based on the AHP technique. Also, quantitative economic technique such as an input-output model was performed. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS First, entertainment shopping mall has both positive impacts(+) and negative impacts(-) on regional economies. Second, the tourism role of the entertainment shopping mall turned out to be the most importance factor among positive impacts. Third, generation of traffic congestion turned out to be the critical factor among negative impacts. Fourth, overall importance score of positive impacts is definitely higher than that of negative impacts through an AHP analysis. 2. RESULTS The results of the analysis show that positive effects of suburban entertainment center on regional economies have been perceived as more important elements in development policies and give implications for conflict resolution.
