국문 초록

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에서 디지털 리터러시와 관련된 성취기준을 추출하고, 중학교 가정교과의 ｢인간발달과 주도적 삶｣과 ｢생활환경과 지속가능한 선택｣ 영역에서 디지털 리터러시 반영 양상과 교과서별 특징을 분석하였다. 가정교과서 5종의 활동과제를 디지털 리터러시 반영 정도에 따라 도구적 수준과 심화적 구현 수준으로 분류한 뒤, 심화적 구현 수준의 활동과제를 중심으로 디지털 리터러시 하위요소별 반영 양상을 분석하였으며, 전문가 6인의 협의를 통해 결과의 타당성을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, ｢인간발달과 주도적 삶｣ 영역에서는 ‘디지털 의식⋅태도’의 하위요소인 생명 존중 의식, 디지털 준법정신, 디지털 예절이 주로 반영되었으며, 또래⋅세대 관계나 성 가치관 관련 성취기준과 밀접하게 연결되었다. 반면 ｢생활환경과 지속가능한 선택｣ 영역에서는 ‘디지털 테크놀로지 이해와 활용’의 하위요소인 소프트웨어 활용, 정보관리, 최신 기술 이슈와 더불어, ‘디지털 사고능력’의 비판적 사고력, 창의적 사고력, 그리고 ‘디지털 실천 역량’의 문제해결 등이 강조되었다. 전체적으로 ｢인간발달과 주도적 삶｣ 영역은 의식⋅태도 영역의 하위요소가 두드러지게 나타난 반면, ｢생활환경과 지속가능한 선택｣ 영역은 테크놀로지, 사고능력, 실천 역량의 하위요소가 주로 반영되었다. 그러나 두 영역 모두에서 ‘최신 기술 이슈’, ‘의사소통⋅협업’, ‘콘텐츠 창작’과 같은 하위요소는 상대적으로 낮은 빈도를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 각 영역의 특성에 적합한 디지털 리터러시 하위요소들이 균형 있게 반영될 필요성을 보여주며, 가정교과의 실생활 맥락 속에서 디지털 리터러시 역량을 체계적으로 함양하기 위한 교육적 접근이 요구됨을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the integration of digital literacy in middle school home economics textbooks, focusing on the “Human Development and Self-Directed Living” and “Life Environment and Sustainable Choices” domains of the 2022 revised national curriculum. Learning activities from five textbooks were classified by the level of digital literacy reflection, and advanced-level activities were analyzed in detail. A panel of six experts reviewed and validated the results. The analysis revealed that in the Human Development and Self-Directed Living domain, sub-elements of Digital Consciousness and Attitude—namely Respect for Life, Digital Law-Abiding Spirit, and Digital Etiquette—were most frequently emphasized, particularly in achievement standards related to peer and generational relationships and value formation. In contrast, the Life Environment and Sustainable Choices domain emphasized sub-elements of Understanding and Application of Digital Technology (e.g., Software Use, Information Management, Emerging Technology Issues), as well as sub-elements of Digital Thinking Ability such as Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking, and of Digital Practical Competency such as Problem-Solving. Overall, the Human Development and Self-Directed Living domain reflected a stronger focus on the sub-elements of Digital Consciousness and Attitude, while the Life Environment and Sustainable Choices domain highlighted sub-elements of Technology Use, Thinking Ability, and Practical Competency. However, both domains showed relatively limited integration of sub-elements such as Emerging Technology Issues, Communication and Collaboration, and Content Creation. These findings indicate the need for a balanced integration of digital literacy sub-elements tailored to each domain and for systematic approaches to cultivating digital literacy competencies in the real-life context of home economics education.
