국문 초록

본 연구는 비자살적 자해(Non-Suicidal Self-Injury: NSSI)행동을 주호소로 하는 청소년 미술치료과정에서 미술치료사가 반응미술작업을 통해 무엇을 경험을 하였고, 그러한 경험이 의미하는 바가 무엇인지를 밝히는데 그목적이 있다. 본 연구의 참여자는 미술치료사인 연구자 자신으로 반응미술작업은 연구자의 근무기관 내 미술치료실에서 이루어졌다. 미술치료는 2023년 10월부터 2025년 3월까지 주 1회씩 총 55회기 진행하였다. 반응미술작업은 5주를 주기로 사례에 대한 기록들을 살펴보면서 글쓰기와 함께 실행하였고, 이를 내러티브 탐구의 관점에서 서술하였다. 그 결과 반응미술작업의 경험에 대한 핵심주제는 11가지로 도출되었다. 이를 통한 경험의 의미를 3가지로 제시하였다. 이러한 탐구과정은 미술치료사가 미술작업을 신뢰하고, 미술치료사로서의 자긍심을 갖는 계기가 되었다. 또한 미술치료사의 반응미술작업이 내담자와의 소통과 공감의 길잡이가 되고, 미술치료사로서의 정체성과 전문성 확장에 효과적일 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify what an art therapist through the response art work experienced in the process of art therapy for an adolescent with the non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI) and the meanings of the art work for the therapist as a participant. The therapist executed the response art work at a studio in the researcher's working institution. The therapist conducted 55 therapy sessions once a week for 50 minutes per session from October 2023 to March 2025. Through examing every five weeks case records, the art therapist carried out the response art work, and described it in the perspective of a narrative inquiry. Using these data, the study derived 11 key topics from the experience of the art therapist and three meanings of experience. This inquiry served as an opportunity for the therapist to trust the art work and take pride as an art therapist. In addition, the response art work of the therapist guided for communication and empathy with the adolescent. In addition, it was significant in that it could be effective in expanding the identity and expertise of art therapists. Based on these contents, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
