국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 정서지능과 우울의 관계를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 강원도 소재 일반계 고등학교에 재학 중인 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 정서지능, 우울, 학교적응을 측정하는 검사를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-검정, 일원분산분석(ANOVA), 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 성별, 학년, 가족 간 대화시간, 스마트폰 사용 시간 등 배경변인에 따라 정서지능, 우울, 학교적응에 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 정서지능은 학교적응과 정적 상관을, 우울은 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 또한, 다중회귀분석 결과, 정서지능과 우울은 고등학생의 학교적응을 유의미하게 예측하는 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 정서적 역량 향상과 우울 예방을 통한 심리적 지원이 학교적응을 촉진하는 데 효과적임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and depression as influencing factors on school adjustment among high school students. Students from general high schools in the Gangwon region participated in the survey, which utilized instruments measuring emotional intelligence, depression, and school adjustment. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that emotional intelligence, depression, and school adjustment significantly differed depending on gender, grade level, family communication time, and smartphone usage. Emotional intelligence was positively correlated with school adjustment, while depression showed a negative correlation. Furthermore, both emotional intelligence and depression were found to be significant predictors of school adjustment. These findings suggest that enhancing students’emotional competencies and providing psychological support to prevent depression can contribute to improving their school adjustment.
