디자인 씽킹을 활용한 교육학 개론 수업에서의 학습 경험 분석 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학의 교육학 개론 수업에 디자인 씽킹을 적용하여 운영한 실제 사례를 바탕으로, 예비교사들의 수업을 통한 학습 경험을 분석하고, 향후 디자인 씽킹 교육학 수업의 설계와 개선에 대한 실증적 자료 제공 및 시사점을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 디자인 씽킹 교수법을 활용한 교육학 개론 교수 설계 및 개 발 문헌연구, 실제 수업에 적용한 실행연구, 참여 과정에 대한 질문지법, 면담 등을 실 시하고, 1단계(공감)부터 7단계(프로토타입 검토 및 보완)까지의 과정을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디자인 씽킹 교육학 개론 수업은 전반적으로 높은 만족도를 바탕으로 학습자 중심의 창의적·협력적 학습 경험을 제공하였다. 둘째, 디자인 씽킹 교육학 개론 수업에서 나타난 부정적 경험은 개념 및 이론의 생소함, 문제 및 주제 설정의 모호성, 아이디어 구체화의 현실적 제약, 팀워크의 어려움, 추상적인 피드백 등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 디자인 씽킹 교육학 개론 수업의 효과성을 제고하기 위해 서는 단계별 구체적인 지원 체계가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 향후 본 연구의 결과는 예비교사를 대상으로 하는 다양한 교육과정 개발 시 디자인 씽킹을 적용한 교수 설계 및 실행 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 이에 대한 실천적·실증적 연구가 지속적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the learning experiences of pre-service teachers through an actual case of applying design thinking in an Introduction to Education course at a university. Based on this analysis, the study seeks to provide empirical data and implications for the design and improvement of future education courses incorporating design thinking. To achieve these research objectives, I conducted a literature review on the design and development of introductory education courses using the design thinking teaching method, conducted an action research study applying introductory education courses, conducted a questionnaire survey, conducted interviews, and analyzed the process from stage 1 (empathy) to stage 7 (prototype review and refinement). The major results of the study are as follows. First, the design thinking-based Introduction to Education course provided a learner-centered, creative, and collaborative learning experience, with a generally high level of student satisfaction. Second, Negative experiences included unfamiliarity with the concepts and theories of design thinking, ambiguity in defining problems and topics, difficulties in concretizing ideas, challenges in teamwork, and abstract feedback. Third, to enhance the effectiveness of such courses, there is a need for a more detailed and structured support system at each stage of the design thinking process. The results of this study can serve as foundational data for the development of various curricula targeting pre-service teachers and can inform the instructional design and implementation strategies that incorporate design thinking. Ongoing practical and empirical research in this area is recommended.
