국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 회복탄력성과 전문성이 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 G광역시에 소재한 유치원, 어린이집에 근무하는 유아교사 316명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 본 연구결과, 유아교사의 회복탄력성과 전문성이 높을수록 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량이 더 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량 하위요인인 놀이이해와 유아존중요인, 성찰과 반영요인, 관찰과 기록요인, 놀이자료 및 공간지원요인, 놀이공동참여요인, 놀이상황 지원요인, 민주적인 교실운영요인, 소통과 협력요인 모든 변인에 유아교사의 회복탄력성과 전문성이 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량의 모든 하위요인에 있어서 유아교사의 회복탄력성과 전문성 변인을 교육과정 실제에 반영하여 시대가 요구하는 효과적인 놀이중심 교육을 실현하고 교육에 연계함으로써 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량을 더욱 향상시키는 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the effect of early childhood teachers’ resilience and professional expertise on play-oriented curriculum practice competency. A survey was conducted among 316 early childhood teachers working at kindergartens and daycare centers located in G Metropolitan City, South Korea. The results of the study showed that the higher the resilience and professional expertise of early childhood teachers, the higher their competency in play-oriented curriculum practice and its sub-factors. Early childhood teachers’ resilience and expertise were found to affect various aspects of play-based learning, including play understanding, infant respect, reflection, observation and recording, support of materials and space for play, joint participation, support of play situation, democratic classroom operation, communication and cooperation. These results indicate the need ot invest, efforts in further improving play-oriented curriculum practice competency by reflecting the resilience and professional expertise variables of early childhood teachers in curriculum practice and linking them to education.
