국문 초록

이 연구는 전남 도서지역 다문화 초등학생을 위한 블렌디드 진로멘토링 프로그램(Blended Career Mentoring Program, 이하 BCMP)을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 교수체제설계(ISD, instructional systems design) 모형을 기반으로 분석-설계-개발-실행-평가 단계를 거쳐 BCMP를 개발하고 적용하여 효과를 검증하였다. BCMP의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 혼합 연구 방법을 사용하여 멘티의 진로개발역량과 진로장벽 변화를 준거로 단일집단 사전-사후 실험을 수행하였다. BCMP 적용은 전남 도서지역 다문화 초등학생 멘티와 초등 예비교사 멘토가 1:1로 결연되어 온·오프라인에서 총 12회 운영되었다. 이 연구를 통하여, 첫째, 개발된 BCMP는 높은 내적 타당도(CVR=.947)를 확보하였다. 둘째, BCMP는 멘티의 진로개발역량 증진과 진로장벽 완화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 다문화 초등학생을 위한 맞춤형 진로 멘토링 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 강조하며, 실천 가능한 멘토링 모델을 제시하는 데 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다. 끝으로, 후속 연구로는 다양한 지역의 다문화 초등학생을 대상으로 한 효과 검증 연구를 통해 BCMP의 일반화를 검증하는 연구가 필요하며, 또한 멘티의 장기적 진로발달을 추적하는 종단 연구도 주요 과제로 제안될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to develop and validate the effectiveness of a Blended Career Mentoring Program (BCMP) for multicultural elementary school students in island regions of Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Based on the instructional systems design (ISD) model, the BCMP was developed and implemented through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. To verify the effectiveness of the BCMP, a mixed-method research approach was used, and a one-group pretest-posttest experiment was conducted to measure changes in mentees' career development competency and career barriers. The BCMP was implemented over 12 sessions, both online and offline, through one-on-one mentoring between multicultural elementary school mentees and pre-service elementary school teacher mentors. The key findings of the study are as follows. First, the developed BCMP demonstrated high internal validity (CVR = .947). Second, the BCMP was found to have a positive effect on the mentees’ career development competencies and a reduction in perceived career barriers. These results highlight the need for customized career mentoring programs for multicultural elementary school students and suggest a practical mentoring model. Finally, further research should focus on verifying the generalizability of BCMP by conducting studies with multicultural elementary students in diverse regions. Additionally, a longitudinal study tracking the long-term career development of mentees is suggested as an important area for further research.
