보육교사의 긍정심리 자본이 놀이중심 교육과정 실천 역량에 미치는 영향 : 자기성찰의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 긍정심리자본과 놀이중심교육실천역량과의 관계에서 자기성찰의 매개효과에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구 대상은 대구경북 지역의 어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사 296명이었으며, 설문지의 적절성을 평가하기 위해 본 조사에 앞서 관련된 전문가 3인의 검토, 보육교사 16명을 대상으로 문장의 적절성 및 이해도에 대한 사전 조사를 거쳐 최종적으로 완성된 설문지를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도 및 기술통계, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식 분석을 실시하였다. 또 자기성찰의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 PROCESS macro 모델 4를 활용하여 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 긍정심리자본, 자기성찰, 놀이 중심 교육 실천 역량 간의 유의한 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 보육교사의 긍정 심리자본과 놀이중심교육실천역량과의 관계에서 자기성찰이 통계적으로 유의미한 부분 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 긍정심리 자본과 자기성찰, 놀이중심 교육과정 실천 역량 간의 관계를 탐색한 본 연구 결과를 토대로 보육 현장에서의 실천적 함의를 제안하였다. 특히 보육교사의 놀이중심 교육실천 역량 강화를 위해 교사 개인 변인인 긍정심리자본과 자기성찰 증진을 위한 구체적 프로그램 개발과 교육이 기관 차원 뿐 아니라 보수교육 등의 과정에 포함될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다. 이는 결과적으로 보육 서비스의 질적 향상으로 이어지며, 궁극적으로 영유아의 놀이 경험을 더욱 풍부하게 하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of self-reflection on the relationship between the positive psychological capital of childcare teachers and their competency in implementing play-oriented education. The subjects of this study were 300 childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Gyeongsan-si, and the final questionnaire was completed refined through expert review by two professionals and preliminary survey involving 15 childcare teachers to assess sentence clarity and appropriateness for 15 childcare teachers to evaluate the appropriateness of the questionnaire prior to this survey. For data analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis were performed using SPSS (Ver.25.0), and structural equation modeling was performed using AMOS 21.0. In addition, regression analysis was performed using PROCESS Macro Model 4 to test the mediating effect of self-reflection. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between the positive psychological capital, self-reflection, and play-oriented education practice competencies of childcare teachers. Second, it was found that self-reflection was found to have a statistically significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between the positive psychological capital of childcare teachers and their competency in play-oriented education practice. Based on the results of this study, it was suggested that various educational support systems, including programs to promote the positive psychological capital of childcare teachers, need to be prepared to provide opportunities for self-development. This is because positive psychological capital can enhance play-oriented education practice competency through the mediating role of self-reflection. In this way, this study is meaningful in that it empirically verified the mediating role of an individual variable—self-reflection—in the relationship between childcare teachers’ positive psychological capital and their competency in play-oriented educational practice.
