잠재전이분석을 적용한 중학생의 학업태도와 그릿의 잠재집단 분류와 영향요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 학업태도(학업열의, 학업무기력)와 그릿에 따른 잠재계층을 분석하고 시간 변화에 따른 전이 양상과 영향 요인을 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 한국아동・청소년패널조사 2018 자료 가운데 1차년도와 2차년도 데이터를 사용하였고, 잠재전이로 분석되었으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중1 시기의 학업태도와 그릿은 3개의 잠재집단이 도출되었고, 중2 시기의 학업태도와 그릿도 3개의 잠재집단이 나타났다. 둘째, 잠재계층의 전이 양상은 중1 시기의 저고저 집단이 중2 시기의 중중중 집단으로, 중1 시기의 중중중 집단은 중2 시기의 중중중 집단으로, 중1 시기의 고저고 집단도 중2 시기의 중중중 집단으로 전이되는 양상이 크게 나타났다. 셋째, 중1 시기 개인적 영향요인으로 자아존중감, 우울, 협동심, 가정적 요인으로 거부, 강요, 학교적 요인으로는 교사관계 그리고 어머니의 그릿에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 중2 시기에는 우울, 어머니의 행복감이 유의한 것으로 나타났고, 집단별로 차이가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 학업태도와 그릿의 종단적 전이과정을 설명하며, 청소년의 학업과 그릿 향상을 위한 교육적 개입시 영향요인들을 고려할 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed latent classes according to adolescents’ academic attitudes (academic engagement and academic helplessness) and persistence. It also examined transition patterns and influencing factors over time. For this, we used data from the 1st year and 2nd years of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018. These data were analyzed using latent transition analysis (LTA), and the results were as follows: First, across the middle 1 and 2 periods, three potential groups of academic attitudes and grit were identified. Second, the latent class transition pattern showed a prominent shifts from the low-high-low group of middle 1 to the middle-middle group of middle 2, and from the high-low group of middle 1 to the middle-middle group of middle 2. Third, the analysis of influencing factors showed that in the first year of middle school, there were differences in personal factor such as self-esteem, depression, and cooperation: family factors such as rejection and coercion: and school factors such as teacher-relationships and maternal grit. In the second year of middle school, depression and maternal happiness were significant, and there were group differences. These results highlight the longitudinal transition process of adolescents' academic attitudes and persistence, and suggest the need to consider influencing factors when providing educational interventions to improve adolescents' academic attitudes and persistence.
