초등학교 교육구성원의 교육활동(교권) 인식 실태 분석을 통한 시사점 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 교육구성원들의 교육활동(교권)에 관한 인식실태를 분석하여 시사점을 고찰하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로 FGI(반구조화)는 교사, 학교 행정가, 교육 전문직의 총 7명과 연구진이 참여하고, 다양하고 깊이 있는 전문 식견을 얻을 수 있는 전문가 1인의 일대일 심층면접을 함께 실시하였다. FGI 연구 결과 <교육활동의 존중과 침해> <교육활동 보호를 위한 주체별 역할> <새로운 정책에 의한 현장의 변화> <교육활동 침해 개선 방안>의 4개 영역으로 도출되었다. 심층면접의 결과는 <교권 개념의 정립> <도움 시스템으로써 교육청의 역할> <학교 교육 공동체가 만드는 매뉴얼> <교사 주도의 전문성 향상>으로 제시되었다. 이러한 연구를 통한 시사점으로 첫째 교육활동(교권)에 관한 명확한 개념 정립, 둘째 교육부 및 그 산하 기관의 실효성 가진 시스템 구축, 셋째 학교장 중심의 학교 자체 매뉴얼 정립, 넷째 학부모 의무 교육(가정교육의 중요성) 실시, 다섯째 범교과화로 확대된 학교 교육 범위의 축소 여섯째 문제 학생에 대한 교사 판단의 신뢰성 제고, 일곱째 교육전문가로써 교사의 자기연찬 강화가 도출되었다. 이러한 연구를 토대로 교사, 학생, 학부모가 함께 아이들 교육을 위해 하나 될 수 있는 학교 문화 형성에 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding their educational activities (teachers’ rights) and consider their implications. To achieve this, it examines research trends related to teachers' rights, clarifies their definitions, and investigates the diverse perceptions of faculty members within the school setting. The research methodology included focus group interviews (FGI) with seven participants—teachers, school administrators, and educational specialists—as well as the research team. Additionally, one-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted to gain diverse and detailed professional insights. The findings of this study suggest several key implications: First, there is a need to establish a clear and precise definition of educational activities (teachers' rights). Second, the Ministry of Education and its affiliated organizations should develop effective systems. Third, school-specific manuals should be created under the leadership of school principals. Fourth, mandatory parental education programs emphasizing the importance of home education should be implemented. Fifth, the scope of school education expansion due to cross-curricular integration should be reduced. Sixth, trust in teachers' judgment of problematic students should be strengthened. Finally, continuous self-improvement should be promoted among teachers.
