‘말놀이 동시 활동’ 협력적 실행 연구 과정에서 나타난 유아교사의 변화

국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘말놀이 동시 활동’의 협력적 실행 연구 과정에서 말놀이 동시를 활용한 수업에 대한 유아교사의 변화에 대한 연구로 연구 참여자는 인천시의 사립유치원 교사 2명이다. 협력적 실행 연구는 2024년 5월 1일부터 8월 31일까지 약 4개월 동안 진행되었으며, 연구 방법은 실행과 성찰, 결과에 대한 분석 및 평가로 진행되었다. 자료는 동시 활동 녹음자료, 관찰 자료, 교사의 반성적 저널 및 면담, E-mail 등의 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 동시 활동에 소극적이었던 교사들이 말놀이 동시 활동을 통해서 적극적으로 변화하였다. 둘째, 교사들은 동시 활동이 ‘정적인 활동’이라는 고정관념을 탈피하였다. 셋째, 말놀이 동시 활동을 통해 동시 활동이 교사 중심에서 유아 중심의 놀이 활동으로 이루어졌다. 이러한 과정에서 교사들은 협력적 실행 연구를 통해 한 뼘 더 성장하였다. 본 연구는 유아교사의 역량 강화 및 유아교육현장의 동시 활동의 활성화를 위한 실천적 교육 방법에 대한 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examined changes in early childhood teachers revealed in the collaborative action research process on wordplay poetry activities. The research participants were two private kindergarten teachers in Incheon City, and the study was conducted for approximately four months, from May 1 to August 31, 2024. During the collaborative action research process, recordings of poetry activities, observation data, teachers' reflective journals, interviews, and e-mails were collected and analyzed. The research method consisted of implementation, reflection, analysis, and evaluation of the results. The research results are as follows. First, teachers who were passive in poetry activities changed actively through wordplay poetry activities. Second, teachers broke away from the stereotype that poetry activities are static. Third, through wordplay poetry activities, poetry activities changed from teacher-centered to child-centered play activities. In this process, teachers grew one step further through collaborative practice research. The study is meaningful because it provided basic data for practical educational methods to strengthen early childhood teachers' teaching capabilities and to activate poetry activities in early childhood education settings.
