영아기질과 가정환경이 영아발달에 미치는 영향: 6~7개월 영아를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 영아기질과 가정환경이 영아발달에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 한국영유아교육․보육패널 1차년도(2022년) 자료를 사용하여 6~7개월의 655명 영아와 어머니를 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 연구결과를 분석하기 위해 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아발달 전체와 영아기질 각 영역별 기질은 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 영아발달 중 소근육과 언어는 영아의 기질 중 외향성, 지향/조절에만 관계가 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 영아발달과 가정환경은 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있었으며, 영아발달 중 소근육과 언어발달은 가정환경과 다른 발달에 비해 상관이 낮음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 영아발달 전체는 영아기질의 외향성이 가장 많은 영향력을 미치며 그 다음으로는 가정환경이 많은 영향이 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 영아발달의 하위영역별 결과를 살펴보면 영아발달 중 대근육, 인지, 언어, 사회성 발달은 기질보다 가정환경에 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 있으며, 소근육 발달에서만 기질 중 외향성에 영향력을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 영아초기 영아들의 가정환경에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 가정과 연계된 다양한 프로그램을 구성하고 적극적인 부모교육의 필요성을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the influence of infant temperament and home environment on infant development. It, used data from the 1st year of the Korea Panel on Early Childhood Education and Care (2022) and selected 655 6~7-month-old infants and their mothers as the study subjects. Correlation and multiple regression analyses were conducted to analyze the study results, which were as follows. First, it can be seen that there is a close relationship between the whole of infant development and the temperament of each area of infant temperament, and that fine motor skills and language during infant development are only related to extraversion and behavior/control among infants’ temperaments. In addition, infant development and the home environment were closely related, and it can be seen that fine motor and language development during infant development were less correlated than other developments in the home environment. Second, it can be seen that the extroversion of infant quality has the most influence on infant development as a whole, followed by the home environment. Looking at the results of each sub domain of infant development, gross motor, cognitive, language, and social development have the greatest influence on the home environment rather than temperament, and only fine motor development influences extroversion among temperament. It is significant that it recognized the importance of the home environment of early infants and young children, organized various programs linked to the family, and suggested active parental education.
