국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사를 대상으로 PBL을 적용한 정신건강론 과목 운영의 의미를 분석하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 4년제 유아교육학과 2학년에 재학중인 예비유아교사 25명과 교수자 및 인적자원 3명이다. PBL의 과정으로서 팀별로 2단계 딜레마에 대해 해결안을 도출하였고, 발표 및 평가가 이루어졌다. 자료의 수집은 녹음 및 녹화와 서면자료 수집, 현장노트 기록으로 4개월 간 이루어졌다. 예비유아교사를 대상 PBL적용 정신건강론 과목 실행의 의미로서 3개의 범주와 6개의 하위 범주가 분석되었다. ‘영유아 정신건강에 대한 진지한 탐구’ 범주로서 ‘영유아의 입장에 대해 깊이 공감하기’와 ‘정신건강 지식을 적극적으로 탐구하기’가 도출되었다. ‘영유아 정신건강 지원을 위한 양육자 및 가정연계 공감대 형성’으로는 ‘영유아의 양육자와 양육환경에 대한 이해하기’와 ‘영유아정신건강 지원을 위한 가정과 기관 연계의 중요성 재인식하기’가 도출되었다. ‘교사로서 직면할 수 있는 정신건강 문제해결에 대한 실천적 자신감 형성’으로 ‘예비유아교사로서 자신의 정신건강 바라보기’와 ‘조원과 함께 탐구하는 과정을 통해 영유아의 정신건강 문제 해결에 대한 자신감 다지기’가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning of operating mental health theory subjects with PBL for preservice early childhood teachers. Participants in the study were 25 preservice early childhood teachers and three professors and 3 human resources. As a process of PBL, teams drew up solutions to a two-stage dilemma, and presentations and evaluations were made. The collection of data took place over four months by taking recordings and collecting written data and field notes. Three categories and six subcategories were analyzed as the meaning of implementing the subject of PBL-applied mental health theory for preservice early childhood teachers. As a category of “Serious exploration of children’s mental health,” “Deeply empathy for children's mind” and “Actively exploring mental health knowledge” were derived. As a category of “The creation of a consensus on parenting and family connections for children’s mental health support,” “Understanding parents and the parenting environment of children” and “re-recognition of the importance of home and institutional linkage for children’s mental health support” were derived. As “building practical confidence in solving mental health problems that can be faced as teachers, “looking at one's mental health as a prospective preservice early childhood teacher” and “building confidence in solving mental health problems for children through the process of exploring with the group” were derived.
