국문 초록

본 연구는 장애유아 담당 보육교사의 '3-5세 연령별 누리과정' 운영실태 및 인식을 파악하여 개선점을 찾아 장애유아 대상 누리과정 운영 시 도움을 주는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산광역시 소재 26개 어린이집에서 누리과정을 운영하고 있는 보육교사 134명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 장애유아 담당 보육교사는 누리과정을 활용하여 보육을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 교사 개인 변인에 따라 살펴본 결과, 장애유아 보육경력, 학부전공, 누리과정 교사 연수 이수여부, 근무기관의 유형, 기관의 장애보육 유형에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 장애유아 담당 보육교사는 누리과정이 장애유아의 교육적 요구를 충분히 반영하지 못하며 활용할 수 있는 교수자료 등이 미흡하여 장애유아를 대상으로 보육 시 부적합하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 장애유아 담당 보육교사의 누리과정 운영 시 동반되는 어려움과 장애 요인을 제거해 줄 때 장애유아를 대상을 한 누리과정 운영이 좀 더 효과적으로 실행될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the state of the implementation of the Nuri curriculums for ages 3 to 5 among childcare teachers in charge of preschoolers with disabilities and their awareness of the curriculums in an effort to seek workable reform measures. This study provides a foundation to help implement the Nuri curriculums for preschoolers with disabilities. The subjects in this study were 134 childcare teachers who implemented the Nuri curriculums in 26 daycare centers located in the city of Busan. The findings of this study were as follows: First, the daycare teachers who were in charge of young children with disabilities provided care in accordance with the Nuri curriculums. Based on the results of analyzing their implementation of the curriculums by personal variables, there were significant differences in experience of offering care for preschoolers with disabilities, major in colleges, whether to take one or more training course(s) in the Nuri curriculums, the type of workplace and the type of care for children with disabilities in the workplaces. Second, the teachers did not think that the Nuri curriculums fully reflected the educational needs of preschoolers with disabilities, and they did not consider the curriculums to be appropriate for these children, due to a shortage of teaching materials available. Based on the findings of this study, daycare teachers in charge of preschoolers with disabilities will be able to implement the Nuri curriculums in a more effective way when their related difficulties and barriers are all eliminated.
