유아 색채교육 활동이 유아의 미술표상능력과 감성지능에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아 색채교육 활동이 유아의 미술표상 능력과 감성지능에 어떠한 효과가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 4세 병설유치원 유아 40명을 각각 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구성하여 실험집단 유아들에게 색채교육 활동을 8주 동안 실시하고 통제집단 유아들에게는 생활주제 중심의 미술활동을 8주 동안 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 색채교육 활동은 유아들의 미술표상 능력과 감성지능에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이로 인해 유아 색채교육 활동은 유아들의 미술표상능력과 감성지능을 향상시키기 위한 효과적인 활동과 방법이 될 수 있음을 본 연구는 보여주고 있다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과는 유아교사가 유아 색채교육을 현장에서 실시하는데 필요한 정보를 제공해준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of color-education activities for young children on art representational abil ty and emotional intelligence of young children. The subjects in this study were 4-year-old children in public kindergartens in Seoul. The program with color-education activities for young children had been applied to the experimental group for eight weeks. And, art activities with topic-based curriculum including the color factors had been applied to the control group during the period. This study showed that young children's art representational abil ty and emotional intelligence were improved. The difference between the scores of both groups was statistically significant. Therefore, color-education activities for young children showed a positive effect for young children's art representational abil ty and emotional intelligence. This result means that color-education activities for young children can be effective for improving children's art representational abil ty and emotional intelligence.
