유아의 학교준비도에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 취학전 만 5세 유아의 성, 자기조절력, 학습행동 및 부모의 교육수준이 유아의 학교준비도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 만 5세 유아 155명과 이들의 부모였다. 연구도구는 학교준비도 검사, 자기조절 측정도구, 유아 학습행동 평정척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 t검증을 사용하여 차이검증을 하고, Pearson의 적률상관분석과 단계적 회귀분석을 통해 변인의 관계와 영향력을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 성, 부모의 교육수준에 따른 학교준비도의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 여아가 남아보다 학교준비도가 높았고, 대졸이상 부모의 자녀가 고졸이하 부모의 자녀보다 학교준비도가 높았다. 둘째, 유아의 자기조절력, 학습행동 및 학교준비도의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 이들 변인 간 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 성, 자기조절력, 학습행동 및 부모의 교육수준이 학교준비도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 학교준비도의 적응영역에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인은 학습행동의 주의·지속 요인이었고, 지식영역에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 변인은 학습행동의 학습동기 요인이었다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 유아들의 학교준비도를 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

영문 초록

This thesis aims to discover how the gender of the children, the educational level of parents, self-accommodation, and learning behavior influences the learning readiness of the children under age 5. It targets 155 preschool children under 5 years old and their parents. We use the school readiness ratio, measuring tool of self-accommodation, rating scale of children’ learning behavior as the research tools. Difference verification was done by t-verification and these are analyzed by Product Moment Correlation by Pearson and Regression Analysis by steps. The results of this thesis are as follows: first, as a result of studying the differences of school readiness by the gender of children and educational level of their parents, it was determined that girls have higher school readiness ratio than boys. Also children whose parents have an educational level above undergraduate have a higher school readiness than children whose parents are just high school graduates. Second, the study showed a meaningful relationship among self-accommodation of children, learning behavior and school readiness. Third, it was discovered through this study that the gender of the children, the educational level of parents, self-accommodation, and learning behavior influences school readiness. The most influential variables in school readiness are attention and duration, and learning motivation of learning behavior affects knowledge the most. Based on these results, this thesis would help to provide the basic materials to improve the school readiness ratio of preschool children.
