전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동이 유아의 창의적 신체표현력 및 정서지능에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동이 유아의 창의적 신체표현력 및 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 J시 소재 어린이집 만 5세 유아 39명(실험집단 19명, 비교집단 20명)을 대상으로 하였다. 실험집단 유아들은 전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동을 실시하였으며 비교집단은 전래동요를 활용한 이야기나누기활동을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동을 실시한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 유아의 창의적 신체표현력의 하위영역인 동작의 다양성, 방향성, 시간성, 흐름변화, 표현성이 향상되었다. 둘째, 전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동을 실시한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 유아의 정서지능의 하위영역인 자기인식․표현능력을 제외한 자기조절능력, 타인인식능력, 타인조절능력이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 전래동요를 활용한 신체표현활동이 유아의 창의적 신체표현력 및 정서지능을 증진시키는데 효과적임을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to offer a preliminary study of programs for practical use in the field of early childhood education by experimenting the effects of physical expression activities through traditional children's song on young children's creative physical expression ability and emotional intelligence. The subjects of this study were 39 five-year-old young children in the annexed child care center in J city. The Experiment group did physical expression activities through traditional children's song 2 times for 8 weeks, for a total of 16 times, and the comparison group took part in language activities through traditional children's song for same period. The result of this study showed that there were a significant difference in young children's creative physical expression ability and emotional intelligence between the experiment and the comparison groups. This findings suggest that the physical expression activities through traditional children's song can improve young children's creative physical expression ability and emotional intelligence.
