국내 학술지에 나타난 그림책 관련 논문의 경향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 학술지에 나타난 그림책 관련 논문의 연구경향을 탐색하고 앞으로 연구의 시사점을 얻는 데 목적이 있다. 분석 대상 논문은 한국학술진흥재단의 등재 및 등재 후보지 중 유아교육관련 학회에서 발행한 아홉 종류의 학회지에 수록된 논문 277편이다. 연구결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그림책 관련 논문의 수는 2001년부터 매우 급속히 증가한 가운데 연구내용은 교수방법의 개발 및 효과, 그림책 분석, 그림책에 대한 유아의 반응의 순으로 많은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 내용을 좀 더 상세히 살펴보고자 하위주제로 분류하여 분석한 결과, 그림책 분석 관련 논문은 문학적 요소, 장르/종류, 개별 작품에 대한 분석의 순으로 많았고, 유아반응 관련 논문은 특정 그림책에 대한 반응 연구가 가장 많았으며, 교수방법의 개발 및 효과 관련 논문은 언어, 인지, 사회성 발달과의 관련 순으로 많이 연구되고 있었다. 셋째, 그림책 관련 논문의 연구유형은 양적연구가, 연구대상은 유아가, 자료수집방법은 검사와 문헌수집이, 그리고 자료분석방법으로는 차이검증을 실시한 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 다양한 변인에 따른 유아반응 연구와 유치원 교육과정의 생활영역을 종속변인으로 하는 교수방법 연구의 필요성을 제기하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the research trend in picturebook-related papers published in Korean journals and makes suggestions for future research. The subject consisted of 277 papers in 9 KCI and KCI-candidate journals published by the Korean societies dealing with early childhood education. Through this investigation, the following findings were obtained. The first finding is that the study themes in the papers were, in order of frequency, the development of teaching methods and their effect analysis, the analyses of picturebooks, the responses of young children to picturebooks while the number of the papers has rapidly increased since the year of 2001. Secondly, the further analysis of the sub-themes of the papers shows that the papers dealing with the analyses of picturebooks were mainly focused on literary elements, genres/types and individual picturebook analysis in order of frequency and that the studies on the responses of young children to picturebooks, mostly on the specific picturebooks. It also shows that the development of teaching methods and their effect analysis researches were focused on language, cognition and social development in order of frequency. Thirdly, the major research type was quantitative research, the majority of the subjects was related to young children, the popular data collection methods were tests and literature search, and the data analysis was mostly performed by difference verification. From the present investigation, two kinds of research are suggested: young children's responses to picturebooks depending on various variables and teaching methods with life areas in kindergarten as the dependent variables.
