국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 미술 교사가 교과서 개발 과정에서 경험하는 도전과 기회를 탐구하고, 이러한 경험이 교사의 교육 철학, 수업 방식, 그리고 전문성 발달에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구는 인터뷰를 통해 교과서 개발에 처음으로 참여한 4명의 초등학교 미술 교사의 경험을 심층적으로 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 교사들은 교과서 개발 과정에서 다양한 도전과 기회를 경험하면서 자신의 교육 철학을 반성하고 발전시켰으며, 교사로서의 전문성 또한 크게 향상되었다. 특히 교사들은 창의성, 비판적 사고, 학생 중심 교육의 중요성을 깨닫고, 협력적 성찰을 통해 동료 교사들과의 상호작용으로 교육적 통찰을 얻었다. 본 연구는 미술 교과서 개발 과정이 교사의 성찰과 성장을 촉진하는 중요한 기회임을 시사하며, 미술교육의 질적 향상에 기여할 수 있는 방향성을 제시한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the challenges and opportunities that elementary school art teachers experience in the textbook development process, and to analyze the impact of these experiences on teachers' educational philosophy, teaching methods, and professional development. The study investigated in-depth the experiences of four elementary school art teachers who first participated in the textbook development using a interview method. As a result of the study, teachers reflected on and developed their educational philosophy while experiencing various challenges and opportunities in the textbook development process, and their professionalism as teachers also improved significantly. In particular, teachers realized the importance of creativity, critical thinking, and student-centered education and gained educational insights through interactions with fellow teachers through collaborative reflection. This study suggests that the art textbook development process is an important opportunity to promote teacher reflection and growth. It also suggests directions that can contribute to the quality improvement of art education.
