중등교사의 다문화교육 경험이 다문화 교수효능감에 미치는 영향: 다문화 태도의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 중등학교 교사가 지각하는 다문화교육 경험이 다문화 교수효능감에 미치는 영향 관계에서 다문화 태도의 매개효과를 규명하는 것이며, 구체적인 연구결론은 첫째, 중등학교 교사의 다문화교육 경험, 다문화 태도, 다문화 교수효능감 하위변인 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 중등학교 교사의 다문화교육 경험이 다문화 교수효능감에 미치는 영향 관계에서 다문화 태도(전체)는 다문화 교수효능감에 부분 매개효과가 있었으며, 다문화 태도의 하위변인도 모두 부분 매개효과가 있었다. 즉, 다문화교육 경험이 단독으로 다문화 교수효능감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 중등학교 교사의 다문화교육 경험과 다문화 태도의 하위변인이 함께 다문화 교수효능감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 이에 향후 중등학교 교육현장에서는 교사들이 다문화 교수효능감을 높일 수 있도록 다문화교육 경험 제공 및 교사들의 다문화 태도 변화를 가져올 수 있도록 지속적인 연수 및 교육 기회의 제공이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of multicultural attitudes in the influential relationship where multicultural education experiences as perceived by secondary school teachers affect multicultural teaching efficacy, and detailed research conclusions showed that first, there were significant positive correlations among all the sub-variables of multicultural education experiences, multicultural attitudes, and multicultural teaching efficacy of secondary school teachers. Second, in the influential relationship where the multicultural education experiences of secondary school teachers affect multicultural teaching efficacy, (all) multicultural attitudes were shown to have partially mediating effects on multicultural teaching efficacy, and all sub-variables of multicultural attitudes also had partially mediating effects. In other words, multicultural education experiences alone had significant effects on multicultural teaching efficacy, and the sub-variables of multicultural attitudes and the multicultural education experiences of secondary school teachers together had significant effects on multicultural teaching efficacy.
