국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 역량과 백워드 설계를 기반으로 국어과에서의 문화 향유 역량 함양을 위한 단원 개발의 과정과 결과를 예시하는 데 있다. 연구의 과정과 결과를 간략하게 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 연구는 역량 및 백워드 설계 기반 교육과정(단원)을 개발하기 위해 문서 분석을 시도하였다. 즉, 역량 기반 교육과정 개발과 백워드 설계 기반 교육과정 개발 관련 문헌과 선행연구를 분석하고 결합함으로써 역량기반 교육과정과 이해중심 교육과정에 기반한 백워드 설계를 통합하였다. 둘째, 이 연구는 문화 향유 역량 증진을 위한 단원을 개발하기 위해 백워드 설계의 필요성과 역량중심 교육 요소를 도출하여 연결하였다. 셋째, 이 연구는 역량 및 백워드 설계 모형에 기반한 단원 개발의 결과와 적용상의 유의점을 도출하였다. 특히, 역량 및 백워드 설계의 통합을 기반으로 백워드 설계의 템플릿을 변형하여 단원 개발의 과정과 결과를 3단계로 예시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 역량기반 교육과정을 실현하고, 교사의 교육과정 문해력과 전문성을 신장하는 데 경험적인 자료를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The aim of this paper is to illustrate the process and results of unit development for the cultivation of cultural enjoyment competency in the subject of Korean language based on competency and backward design. The process and results of the study are briefly presented as follows. Firstly, this paper attempted document analysis to develop a curriculum(unit) based on competency and backward design. The competency-based curriculum development and backward design-based curriculum development were integrated by analyzing and combining literature review related to development of a backward design-based curriculum. Secondly, the necessity of backward design and competency-oriented education elements were derived and connected to develop a unit for enhancing cultural enjoyment competency. Thirdly, this paper derived the results of unit development based on the competency and backward design model and important points in application. In particular, based on the integration of competency and backward design, the template of the existing backward design was transformed to illustrate the process and results of unit development in three steps. The results of this paper will provide empirical data for realizing competency-based curriculum and enhancing teachers curriculum literacy and professionalism.
