자기표현 향상과 공격성 감소를 위한 유․아동용 쌀점토 미술활동 프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

최근 우리나라 소아⋅청소년의 정신질환 문제 중 공격성을 포함하는 사례가 급증하고 있다. 아동 청소년기의 정신건강 문제는 성인기에 다양한 문제로 발전하기 때문에 조기발견과 적절한 치료 제공 및 예방 서비스를 시행하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 특히 유⋅아동기의 공격성은 청소년기나 성인기 공격성과 달리 자기표현의 미발달과도 상관이 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 유⋅아동의 자기표현 향상과 공격성 감소를 위해 쌀점토 미술활동 프로그램을 적용한 후 그 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다양한 표현 매체 중 유아동에게 쌀점토 미술활동이 효과적인 이유에 대해 고찰하였으며, 프로그램에 참여할 유⋅아동 50명을 표집하여 사전-사후 통제집단 설계를 적용한 프로그램을 실시한 후, 자기표현과 공격성 점수의 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 자기표현과 공격성에 대한 유치원 및 학교 담임교사의 평정치를 분석 자료로 사용하였고 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 공분산분석 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램의 효과성 검증 결과에서 자기표현 하위 요인 중 음성 및 체언 요인에 대해 실험집단의 평균이 통계적으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 공격성 하위요인 중 대인관계 요인에 대해 실험집단의 평균이 통계적으로 낮게 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과와 관련된 시사점과 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of rice-clay artistic activity program for self-expression improvement and aggression reduction. the data of 50 were used in the final analysis, pretest-posttest control group design was applied, and the difference between groups in self-expression and aggression was analyzed. Besides, an analysis was conducted into detailed characteristics of four participants who demonstrated a striking change during the process. What was used as analysis data included ratings of kindergarten teachers or home room teachers in school for self-expression and aggression, the observation sheet made by a professional program lecturer, video data on activity record and participants work. Analysis of covariance was carried out using SPSS 20.0. Study findings are shown below. Firstly, the results from controlling the previously measured value and analysis of covariance in order to identify the different between the control group and experimental group according to whether to attend the artistic activity program using rice-clay represented that the average of the experiment group was statistically high in voice and substantive factor among self-expression sub-factors. Secondly, the average of the experiment group was statistically low in interpersonal relationship factor among sub-factors of aggression. Through these results, we discussed the implications and the limitations of this study.
