국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 프로스포츠 구단의 AI 도입 과정에서 나타나는 조직 혁신과 저항의 메커니즘을 근거이론적 접근을통해 심층적으로 분석하였다. 연구참여자는 프로구단 현장지도자 3명, 현역 선수 3명, 프로구단 프론트 2명, 스포츠IT 기업 팀장 1명, 데이터 분석 전문가 1명, 스포츠 미디어 관계자 1명 등 총 11명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 개방코딩을 통해 70개의 개념과 19개의 하위범주, 6개의 상위범주가 도출되었다. 축코딩을 통해 도출된 패러다임 모형에서는 '프로스포츠 생태계의 AI 도입 요구'가 인과적 조건으로, '프로스포츠 생태계의 구조적 특성' 이 맥락적 조건으로 작용하였다. 중심현상은 'AI 도입에 따른 생태계 변화'로 나타났으며, 이에 대한 중재적 조건으로'AI 도입 성공을 위한 조건'이 확인되었다. 연구 결과는 국내 프로스포츠 구단의 AI 도입을 위한 실천적 가이드라인을제시하고, 스포츠 조직의 디지털 전환 과정에서 나타나는 혁신과 저항을 이해하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the mechanisms of organizational innovation and resistance in the AI adoption process of Korean professional sports teams through a grounded theory approach. The study conducted in-depth interviews with 11 participants, including 3 field coaches, 3 active players, 2 front office staff from professional teams, 1 sports IT company team leader, 1 data analysis expert, and 1 sports media professional. Through open coding, 70 concepts, 19 subcategories, and 6 main categories were identified. The paradigm model derived through axial coding revealed 'AI adoption demands in the professional sports ecosystem' as the causal condition and 'structural characteristics of the professional sports ecosystem' as the contextual condition. The central phenomenon emerged as 'ecosystem changes due to AI adoption,' with 'conditions for successful AI adoption' identified as the intervening condition. The findings provide practical guidelines for AI adoption in Korean professional sports teams and contribute to understanding the dynamics of innovation and resistance during the digital transformation of sports organizations. This study suggests strategic approaches for managing organizational change and resistance in the context of technological innovation in professional sports.
