국문 초록

본 연구는 쉴러의 미적 사유를 통해 이중섭 작품의 유희성에 관한 미적 교육의함의를 탐구한다. 이중섭의 예술세계는 물리적인 한계에 종속되지 않고, 자율적주체로서의 미적 사유를 드러냈다. 이는 삶의 미적 경험방식과 그것을 작품 속에서온전히 구현하는 정신적 힘, 그 자유로운 정신의 가능성에 주목한 쉴러의 유희 개념과맞닿아 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 쉴러의 미적 사유를 바탕으로 유희하는 인간, 그 겸허함에서 정신적 자유를 느끼게 해 주는 이중섭 작품의 숭고함에 주목한다. 이중섭의 예술이 분열된 삶의 고통을 숭고하게 승화시킨 방식을 분석함으로써, 그의작품에 대한 해석의 지평을 확장하고 이상적인 미적 교육에 대한 의미 있는 통찰을제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study explores the implications of aesthetic education in relation to the playful elements in Lee Jung-seop’s artwork, through the lens of Friedrich Schiller’s concept of aesthetic reason. According to Schiller, the realm of art transcends physical limitations and reveals aesthetic reason as an autonomous and liberating force. Grounded in this philosophical framework, the study examines how the sublime in Lee Jung-seop’s art evokes a sense of inner freedom, reflecting Schiller’s ideal of aesthetic education. Through this analysis, the study aims to offer meaningful insights into the educational value of art that harmonizes play, freedom, and human dignity.
