국문 초록

이 논문은 인공지능(AI)과 알고리즘 기반 기술이 예술교육에 미치는 영향에 주목하여, 인간과 비인간, 기술과 감수성, 창작과 윤리가 얽힌 교육적 실천의 새로운방향을 탐색한다. 예술교육이 단순한 기술 활용을 넘어서 존재론적, 사회문화적, 윤리적 감수성을 통합하는 교육 실천으로 확장될 필요성을 제기한다. 이를 위해본 논문은 Karen Barad(2007)의 행위적 실재론(Agential Realism), Nicholas Leonard(2020)의 Entanglement Art Education(EAE), 그리고 비판적 미디어리터러시 이론을 이론적 기반으로 삼아, 초등 고학년부터 중학생 대상의 AI 기반미술교육 커리큘럼을 설계하였다. 제안된 커리큘럼은 ‘공동 창작하고 비판하라(co-create and critique)’는 교육 철학을 중심에 두고, 존재론적 이해, 알고리즘해석, 감응적 실천이 유기적으로 연결되는 단계적 수업 구조를 제공한다. 이 연구는AI 시대 예술교육이 는 AI 시대 예술교육이 인간-비인간-기술의 관계 속에서 구성되는 주체성, 사회적 감수성, 기술에 대한 비판적 이해를 동시에 아우르는 ‘교육적상상력’을 회복할 수 있는 가능성을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study explores a new direction for educational practice in art education by critically examining the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithmic technologies. In an era where the boundaries between human and nonhuman, technology and sensitivity, creation and ethics are deeply entangled, art education must move beyond the mere use of digital tools toward a pedagogical model that integrates ontological, sociocultural, and ethical sensibilities. Grounded in Karen Barad’s agential realism, Nicholas Leonard’s Entanglement Art Education, and theories of critical media literacy, this paper proposes an AI-based art curriculum designed for upper elementary students. The proposed curriculum is structured around the pedagogical philosophy of “co-create and critique,” offering a stepwise learning model that links ontological inquiry, algorithmic interpretation, and responsive artistic practice. This research suggests that art education in the age of AI holds the potential to recover a form of educational imagination—one that encompasses subjectivity formed within human-nonhuman-technological relations, social sensibility, and critical engagement with technology.
