국내 미술관교육 학술 담론의 변천 과정 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 미술관교육 학술 담론의 변천 과정을 분석하였다. 1991년부터2023년까지 국내에 발표된 연구논문 초록의 텍스트를 분석한 후 시기별 특징을도출하였으며 도출된 특징을 바탕으로 전문가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 1991년부터2023년까지의 담론변화 양상에 전문가들은 학술담론 초기에는 미술관교육의 가치를정립하기 위해 교육 참여자로 모집이 쉬운 어린이를 대상으로 연구하였고 사례연구를 통해 미술관교육의 성공사례를 탐색하려 했다. 추후 문화예술교육 정책에힘입어 미술관교육 전문인력이 투입되어 연구의 실천적 방안을 마련하기 시작하였고이후 전문성을 강화하기 위해 시각적 사고전략, 시각적 문해력 등 다양한 방법론을활용하여 교육의 효과를 구체적으로 입증하였다. 코로나19로 인한 사회환경의 변화는미술관교육의 담론이 접근성 강화, 즉 온라인교육 활성화로 변화하는데 지대한 영향을미쳤다. 연구결과를 토대로 제시하는 시사점은 다음과 같다. 미술관교육과 연관된정책과 제도, 미술관교육 학문, 교육의 실천적 영역이 연계와 협력을 통해 발전해나가야 하며, 미술관교육에서 실천적 영역의 중요성을 인식하고 현장을 중심으로제도적인 지원을 해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the transition process of academic discourse in domestic art museum education. After analyzing the text of the abstract of research papers published in Korea from 1991 to 2023, the characteristics of each period were derived. Expert interviews were conducted based on the derived characteristics. In response to these changes in discourse, experts studied children who were easy to attract in order to establish the value of art museum education in the early stages of academic discourse, and tried to explore the successful cases of art museum education through case studies. In the future, thanks to the culture and arts education policy, experts in art museum education were put in place to come up with practical plans for research. In order to strengthen professionalism, various methodologies such as visual thinking strategies and visual literacy were used to specifically prove the effectiveness of education. Changes in the social environment caused by COVID-19 had a profound impact on the conversation of art museum education to strengthen accessibility, that is, to revitalize online education. The implications presented based on the research results are as follows. Policies and institutions related to art museum education, art museum education studies, and practical areas of education should be developed through linkage and cooperation, and the importance of practical areas in art museum education should be recognized and institutional support should be provided centering on the field.
