국문 초록

4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래와 함께 대학 교육에서는 창의성과 문제 해결력을 갖춘 인재 양성이 강조되고 있으며, 이는특히 창업 교육 현장에서 중요한 과제로 대두되고 있다. 기존의 강의 중심 교육방식에서 벗어나, 학생들이 실제 문제를 해결하며 학습에 능동적으로 참여하는 방식이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 PBL(Problem-Based Learning)은 창업기회 역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과적인 학습 전략으로 주목받고 있다. 창업 기회 역량은 개인이 환경 속에서 기회를 인식하고 이를 실행 가능한 창업 아이디어로 전환하는 능력으로, 예비 창업자의 핵심 역량 중 하나로 간주된다. 특히 청년 창업이 국가 차원의 전략으로 부각되는 상황에서, 대학생의 창업 기회 역량 강화는 개인 진로 설계뿐만 아니라 국가 경쟁력 확보 측면에서도 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 본 연구는 PBL 학습 참여 경험이 대학생의 창업 기회 역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 관계에서 학습 만족도가 조절효과를 가지는지를 실증적으로 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 2024년 11월 1일부터 12월 20일까지 경기도 소재 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 대학생들을 대상으로, PBL 수업에 참여한 경험이 있는 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 140명의 응답 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, PBL 학습 참여 경험 중 문제 인식과 문제 해결력이 종속변수인 창업 기회 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 PBL 학습 과정에서 학생들이 다양한 해결 전략을 시도하고 실험하며 경험을 축적하는 과정이창업에 필요한 능력을 강화시키는 데 기여함을 시사한다. 또한, 대학 차원에서 학생들의 창업 역량을 강화하기 위해 PBL 기반 교육과정을 보다 적극적으로 도입하고, 문제 해결 중심의 다양한 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다. 둘째, PBL 학습 참여 경험과 창업 기회 역량 간 관계에서 학습 만족도의 조절 효과를 검토한 결과, 학습 만족도가 높을수록 PBL 학습 참여 경험이 창업 기회 역량에 미치는 영향이 더욱 강하게 나타났다. 이는 학습자가 학습 과정에 만족할수록문제 해결 과정에서 얻는 성취감과 동기가 증대되어, 창업 역량 강화로 이어질 가능성이 높다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, universities are placing greater emphasis on nurturing talents equipped with creativity and problem-solving skills, which is especially critical in entrepreneurship education. Traditional lecture-based teaching methods are being replaced by more active learning approaches where students engage in solving real-world problems. In this context, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has emerged as an effective instructional strategy for enhancing entrepreneurial opportunity recognition competency. Entrepreneurial opportunity competency refers to an individual's ability to identify opportunities in the environment and transform them into feasible business ideas. As youth entrepreneurship becomes a national strategic priority, strengthening this competency among university students is not only important for individual career development but also for enhancing national competitiveness. This study aims to empirically examine the impact of PBL participation on university students’ entrepreneurial opportunity competency and to investigate whether learning satisfaction moderates this relationship. A survey was conducted from November 1 to December 20, 2024, targeting students enrolled in four-year universities in Gyeonggi Province who had participated in PBL-based courses. A total of 140 valid responses were analyzed. The findings indicate, first, that students’ ability to identify and solve problems through PBL positively influences their entrepreneurial opportunity competency. This suggests that the process of experimenting with diverse problem-solving strategies and accumulating experience during PBL enhances essential entrepreneurial skills. It highlights the need for universities to actively adopt PBL-based curricula and develop a variety of problem-centered educational programs. Second, the moderating effect of learning satisfaction was confirmed: the positive impact of PBL participation on entrepreneurial opportunity competency was stronger among students with higher satisfaction levels. This implies that when learners are more satisfied with the learning process, their sense of achievement and motivation in problem-solving is heightened, thereby further enhancing their entrepreneurial competencies.
