국문 초록

본 연구는 기후변화에 따른 국가의 준비도와 취약성을 나타내는 국가적응역량지수(ND-GAIN)가 글로벌 주요 양곡 수출국의 수출량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 최근 COVID-19, 기후변화, 에너지 인플레이션, 전쟁 등 다양한 글로벌 위기가 양곡 수출시장과 세계 식량안보에 심대한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 특히 기후변화는 주요 수출국의 생산 감소와 수출 제한을 초래하고 있다. 본 연구는 2000년부터 2022년까지 FAO-AMIS의 양곡 수출량 데이터와 ND-GAIN 지수를 활용하여 패널 회귀분석을 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 기후변화 대응역량이 양곡수출에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검토하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 안정적인 양곡 공급망 확보를 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the impact of the Notre Dame Global Adaptation Initiative (ND-GAIN) index, which reflects a country's readiness and vulnerability to climate change, on the grain export volumes of major global grain-exporting countries. In recent years, global crises such as COVID-19, climate change, energy inflation, and wars have significantly disrupted the grain export market and global food security. In particular, climate change has led to reduced agricultural production and export restrictions in key exporting countries. Using panel regression analysis, this study examines the relationship between climate adaptation capacity and grain exports based on grain export data from FAO-AMIS and ND-GAIN indices for the period 2000 to 2022. Based on the empirical findings, the study provides policy implications for securing a stable and resilient grain supply chain.
