국문 초록

이 연구는 대한민국 지역사회 구성원의 흡연 및 음주 생활 습관과 여가·레저 활동, 동네 자연환경 만족도 간의 관계를 분석하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2023년 지역사회건강조사의 데이터를 사용하였으며, 총 230,529명의 대한민국 성인이 이번 연구의 분석 대상자로 포함되었다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 28.0(IBM Corp. Armonk, NY) 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 교차분석을 수행하였으며, 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별, 연령, 학력, 혼인상태와 같은 일반적 특성에 따라 흡연과 음주 상태에 차이가 나타났다. 남성이 여성보다 높은 흡연율과 음주 빈도를 보였으며, 기혼이 미혼에 비해 건강한 생활 습관을 더 자주 실천하는 경향이 나타났다. 학력이 높을수록 흡연율과 음주율이 낮았다. 둘째, 동네 자연환경에 만족하는 집단에서 금연과 비음주의 비율이 높아 건강 행태에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 여가·레저 활동과 동네 자연환경이 대한민국 구성원의 흡연과 음주 습관에 관련이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 대한민국의 지역적 특성을 고려한 건강 행태 연구의 기초를 마련하고, 여가·레저 활동과 자연환경이 건강 증진에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 점에서 의의가 있다. 향후 대한민국 구성원이 건강한 삶을 살기 위해 고려할 수 있는 요인을 제시하는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between smoking and drinking behaviors, leisurerecreational activities, and satisfaction with the natural environment of the neighborhood among community members in South Korea. To do so, Data from the 2023 Community Health Survey were utilized, and a total of 230,529 South Korean adults were included in the analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis and crosstabulation analysis were performed using SPSS 28.0 (IBM Corp. Armonk, NY) program, and the results of this study are as follows. First, there were differences in smoking and drinking status by general characteristics such as gender, age, education, and marital status. Men smoke and drink more frequently than women, and married people tend to practice healthy lifestyle habits more often than single people. Higher educational attainment was also associated with lower smoking and drinking rates. Second, those who are satisfied with their neighborhood's natural environment have higher rates of smoking cessation and non-drinking, which has a positive impact on health behaviors. This study confirmed the relationship between leisure and recreational activities and neighborhood natural environment with smoking and drinking habits. This study provides a foundation for health behavior research considering South Korea’s regional characteristics and explores the impact of leisure activities and natural environment on health promotion. These results are expected to be used as a basis for suggesting factors that can be considered for community members in Korea to live healthy lives.
