산업물리치료사의 근무조건 실태분석과 직무만족도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

매년 전체 산업재해율은 점차 감소하는 반면 근골격계 질환의 비중은 급격히 증가하고 있다. 근골격계 질환을 줄이고 안전한 작업 환경을 제공하기 위해 일부 회사에서는 산업물리치료사를 고용하고 있다. 산업물리치료사의 역할에도 불구하고 근무 조건과 직무만족도에 대한 연구는 전무하다. 본 연구의 목적은 근무 조건을 조사하고, 직무만족도에 미치는 요인을 확인하는 것이다. 산업물리치료학회 소속 47명을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 직무특성, 직무만족도의 내용으로 42개 문항으로 구성된 설문지로 온라인 자기기입법으로 진행하였다. 연구결과로 일반적 특성에서 성별, 결혼 여부, 교육, 건강 상태는 복지와 안정성에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 직무 특성에서 고용 상태, 직위, 근무 시간, 업무 유형, 이전 경력, 추가 직무에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 특히 직위, 직무 자부심, 조직 요인, 자율성과 급여, 근무 조건, 복지와 안정성에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 결과적으로 근로자의 근골격계 질환 예방과 치료를 위해 일하는 산업물리치료사의 직무 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 직무 안정성과 승진 제도가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 산업물리치료사를 고용하거나 고용할 기업은 그들의 더 나은 업무를 위해 더 나은 근무 조건을 제공해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

In recent years, the rate of total industry accidents has been gradually decreasing while the proprtion of musculoskeletal problems has sharply increased. To reduce these musculoskeletal problems and provide a safe working environment some companies employ the industrial physical therapists. Despite the role of industrial physical therapists, there is no research about their working conditions and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate working conditions and identify the factor that affect job satisfaction. Forty-seven subjects wwho belonged to the Society for Industrial Physical Therapy responded to a questionnaire composed of 42 items, covering general characteristics, job characteristics, and job satisfaction. In general characteristics, gender, marriage status, education, health status show significant difference in welfare and stability. In Job characteristics, employment status, Job position, working time, type of work, past career, additional job show significant difference. In particular, analysis by job position showed significant differences in multiple factors including job pride, organizational factors, autonomy and payment, working conditions, and welfare and stability. Based on these findings, job stability and a promotion system appear to be necessary to improve job satisfaction among industrial physical therapists who work to prevent and treat musculoskeletal disorders in employees. Therefore, this study suggests that companies with industrial physical therapy program should provide improved working conditions to optimize their performance.
