미래 연구 워크숍을 통해 바라본 청소년의 미래 직업 탐색 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 청소년들이 직접 미래를 상상하고, 현재의 문제 뿐 만 아니라, 미래의 문제를 풀어낼 대안 미래를 탐색하며, 스스로 바라는 미래사회의 모습을 찾아 그 사회에서 자신이 실현하고픈 직업을 발견하거나 창조하도록 돕기 위함이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 특성화고등학교 161명을 대상으로 미래 연구 워크숍을 진행하였다. 워크숍을 진행하기에 앞서 미래 연구 워크숍 과정을 개발하고 검토하였으며, 미래 연구 워크숍의 사전-사후 검사를 통해 미래 연구 워크숍을 경험한 청소년의 미래 효능감을 조사․분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미래 연구 워크숍은 과거연구, 현재의 재구성, 다양한 미래 예측, 4가지 대안 미래 탐색, 선호하는 미래 결정, 미래 실현을 위한 계획 수립, 미래 연구의 제도화의 순서로 구성되어 있는 프로그램으로 개발하였다. 둘째, 세 차례의 워크숍을 진행한 결과, 1차를 제외한 2, 3차 미래 연구 워크숍을 경험한 참여자들은 미래 효능감의 하위영역인 새로운 의미 생성력, 실천력, 사회개선력, 의사소통력 4가지 영역이 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 셋째, 참여자들이 예측한 미래 사회상 중 선호하는 미래로는 변형사회를, 가장 가능성 있는 미래로 보존사회를 선택하였다. 넷째, 참여자들이 도출한 미래 직업은 한국이 세계 최고의 경제 강국이 되었을 때를 가정했을 때, 가상현실 디자이너, 아동 인성 관리 전문가, 파티 플래너, 인공지능 개발자를 도출하였다. 그리고 사회가 여러 가지 이유로 붕괴됐을 때를 가정했을 때, 바이러스 관리인, 치안 유지자, 자전거 에너지 개발자 등을 도출하였다. 또한 사회가 에너지 부족 등의 이유로 보존사회로 진행될 경우 도로관리 관리자, 청소 노동자, 운송업자 등이 지금보다 더 유망해 질 것이라고 예측하였다. 마지막으로 사회가 변형사회로 이동할 경우, 행성 건축 전문가, 칩 보안 전문가, 로봇 디자이너, 로봇권리 보호 운동가, 가상공간 디자이너 등의 직업이 부상할 것으로 예상했다. 청소년들은 미래 연구 워크숍을 통해 다른 인문계 학생들과 달리 졸업 후 직장을 찾는 경우가 많아 자신의 진로에 대해 많은 관심을 갖고 있었다. 이런 인식의 바탕에서 진행하는 미래 연구는 자신의 삶을 되돌아보게 하였다. 그리고 청소년들은 좀 더 구체적으로 자신의 미래를 예측할 수 있다고 볼 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to help teenagers imagine their future on their own, searching for solution to work out not only present but future problems and discover aspect of future society they wish, finding out a job they want to realize in such society and create it. To accomplish such purpose, we had been executing futures workshops with one hundred and sixty one students in high schools of profession. Before progressing workshop, we developed and confirmed procedure of future research workshop, qualitatively investigating/analyzing the forecasted characteristics of future society, future job of teenagers. The results are as following below. First, we developed a program of a futures workshop that is composed of past research, recomposition of presence, forecasting diverse futures, exploring four scenarios of the future, decision-making for recommended future, establishment of plan for realizing future, institutionalization of futures studies. Second, as result of three workshops, the sub-areas of self-efficacy towards futures, which are ability to shape new meanings, ability to make a decision and put it into action, ability to challenge the status quo, and ability to learn something new by cooperating with others, appeared to be statistically significant for participants who experienced the second and the third workshop except for the first. Third, participants chose a conserver society as the most likely future and a transformative society as the most desirable future among others. Forth, as future jobs that had been induced by participants, there were a designer of virtual reality, an expert on child personality management, a party planner, a developer of artificial intelligence as if we assume that Korea is economically most powerful country in the world. What is more, if we suppose society is going to be disrupted someday by variety of reason, there were several more such as a virus manager, a public security maintainer, a bicycle energy developer. Besides, if society turns into the conserver society for some reason such as lack of energy, they forecasted that jobs like a road manager, a sweeping labor, a goods transporter would be more promising. At last, if society turns into a transformative society, jobs like a planet construction expert, a chip security expert, a robot designer, a campaigner for right of robot, a designer of virtual space would rise.
