교육대학교 창의·인성 교육의 당면 과제와 발전적 대안

국문 초록

이 연구는 교육대학교 창의·인성 교육의 당면과제 및 발전적 대안을 제시하는데 목적이 있으며, 창의·인성 관련 키워드 검색을 통한 문헌연구에 의하여 수행되었다. 이 연구의 결론에 기초하여 몇 가지 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육대학교 수준에서의 창의·인성 교육 재개념화가 필요하다. 창의성 교육과 인성 교육의 개념이 융합되는 과정 및 그 당위성, 교육의 대상과 목적 및 방법 등을 포괄하는 재개념화를 위한 연구가 필요하다. 둘째, 교육대학교 창의·인성 교육의 목표 및 내용 체계 정립을 위한 연구가 필요하다. 창의·인성 교육을 총괄하는 컨트롤 타워를 만들고, 그 관점에서 교육의 총괄 목적과 구체 목표를 제시하고, 영역화 하여 그에 걸 맞는 교육 내용을 체계적으로 제시할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 창의·인성 교육의 관점에서 교육대학교 교육과정을 개선하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 지나치게 많은 학점(시간) 수를 축소함으로서 예비교사들이 시간적 여유를 갖고 문제를 창의적으로 해결하 고, 동료들 간에 서로 배려하고 협동하는 문화를 만들어주어야 한다. 넷째, 교육과정 밖 교육 프로그램의 재설계 및 재배치를 위한 연구가 필요하다. 예비교사들에게 다양한 교육적 경험이 제공되도록 교육내용을 영역별, 수직적 및 수평적 연계 등을 고려하여 재배치할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 초등교사직 입문 시에 창의·인성 역량 정도가 얼마나 갖추어져 있는지 확인하기 위한 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다. 예비교사들은 임용시험에 관심이 집중되어 있으므로 페이퍼 시험이나 심층면접 등에서 그들의 창의·인성 역량 정도를 측정할 수 있는 제도가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to show the current issues and developmental alternatives for Creativity and Character Education in National University of Education, and this study was carried out by literature review through keyword search. The recommendations based on the findings of this study are as follows. First, the concept of creativityㆍpersonality education should be readjusted. Not only the convergence procedure of creativity education and personality education and its appropriateness, but also the target and the purpose and the methods of education should be involved in this concept. Second, both objectives and contents of creativityㆍpersonality education should be systemized. More specifically, it is required to create control tower. Through this medium, we can set more extensive goals and clear boundary of education to provide more systematic curriculums. Third, the current curriculum of National University of Education should be improved in the context of creativityㆍpersonality education. The pre-service teachers should be allowed to have the time to solve the problems creatively. Also it needs to promote the atmosphere of respect and collaboration between themselves. It would be possible by improving current too excessive credit system. Fourth, the extra-curricular programs should be redesigned and reorganized as well. The curriculums should be reorganized according to the different domains and considering both cross-sectional and longitudinal studies to provide the pre-service teachers various educational experiences. Finally, the institutional measures which can prove the capability concerning creativity and personality of the beginning teachers of elementary schools should be prepared. To make it successful, it is necessary to perform a paper-based exam or in-depth interview, because the pre-service teachers are obsessed with the teacher employment exams only.
