시각장애학생을 위한 사회적 기술 사정 도구의 적용

국문 초록

시각장애학생들은 시각손상으로 인하여 사회적 기술을 관찰하거나 우연적으로 습득할 기회가 제한되며, 수행에 있어서 어려움을 지니게 된다. 우리나라에서는 시각장애학생을 위한 사회적 기술을 사정할 도구가 아직 개발되어 있지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 외국의 시각장애학생용 사회적 기술 사정 도구를 우리나라의 시각장애학생들에게 적용하여 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검토하고 시각장애학생 변인에 따른 사회적 기술의 차이를 밝히는 데 있다. 현재 시각장애학교에 재학하고 있는 177명을 대상으로 사회적 기술 사정 도구를 교사들에게 평정하게 한 결과, 시각장애학생용 사회적 기술 사정 도구는 높은 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증되었기 때문에 우리나라의 시각장애학생에게 적용하기에 무리가 없는 도구로 밝혀졌다 또한, 시각장애학생의 변인으로 살펴본 성별, 학교수준, 시력 정도, 시각손상 시기, 기타 장애 유무 각각에 대하여 사회적 기술에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 시각장애학생을 위한 사회적 기술 평정 척도를 개발하고자 할 때, 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

For students with visual impairment, the limited opportunities are caused by visual impairments in observation or acquiring incidentally social skills. And they have difficulties in performance. An social skills assessment tool for students with visual impairment hasn't developed in Korea, yet. Therefore, the original tool, which is one for the foreign students with visual impairment is applied to our circumstance in this study. The purpose of this study is following; One is to test reliability and validity of the instrument applying to the korean students with visual impairment. The other is to examine differences of social skills with their variables. 177 subjects who are attending special school for students with visual impairment participated and their social skills are rated by their teachers. The results of this research are follow; The reliability and validity of this tool are not only verified highly but turn out the utility for korean students with visual impairment. Also the significant differences are proved according to sex, school level, visual function, visual impairment onset, presence of other disabilities. This study can be applied to the social skills rating scale development for korean students with visual impairment as a basic data.
