일반유치원과 초등학교의 의뢰전 중재 적용 실태

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 일반교육 현장에서 특수교육 진단과 서비스에 의뢰되기 전에 배치된 장애 또는 장애 위험 아동들을 위한 교사들의 의뢰전 중재 전략의 적용 실태를 조사하고 이를 기반으로 국내 교육 현장에서 효과적으로 적용될 수 있는 의뢰전 중재 전략 모델 개발하기 위한 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 의뢰전 장애유아 및 장애학생의 배치 현황과 의뢰전 중재 지원 방법 및 효과 인식을 살펴보았고 마지막으로 추후 의뢰전 중재에 관련한 지원 요구를 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 일반유아교사 70명과 초등교사 85명을 대상으로 하였으며 본 연구를 결과를 중심으로 특수교육 대상자로서의 적격성을 결정하는 주요 과정으로 적용될 수 있는 교수적 지원 및 행정적 지원 등이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The general classroom teacher uses many instructional intervention methods for the students with disabilities or at risk child until the child refers to special education. The prereferral process identifies and refers a child for special education service who might be eligible in special education and the prereferral intervention methods are modifying the curriculum, teacher instructions, or student activities. The purpose of this study was to review the preceding research results and to investigate the status of prereferral process application in general classroom. Results suggest that there are many students with disabilities or at risk were placed in general classroom, but they were not assessed or diagnosed concerning the eligibility of special education. Also, teachers largely applied the instructional strategy to reduce the puzzling and problematic behavior, and to improve the classroom participation and learning abilities. These efforts can included in prereferral strategy. Based on these results, recommendation for implication support was suggested about administrative support and ongoing workshop programs for the general teachers.
