건강장애학생의 신체기능과 적응유연성의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 건강장애학생의 신체기능 수준, 적응유연성, 신체기능과 적응유연성의 관계를 알아보고 적합한 지도지침 구안이나 지원방안 모색 시 필요한 정보를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 단순무선표집법으로 선정된 전국 31개 병원학교, 4개 화상강의시스템, 재가요양 중이면서 정기외래 진료를 받으며 순회교육을 받는 학생, 원적학교에 복귀한 건강장애학생 256명을 대상으로 ICF-CY(International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Child & Youth Version)에서 제시하는 신체기능 분류체계와 적응유연성 척도를 사용하여 설문조사한 결과를 통계적으로 분석하여 도출된 주된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건강장애학생의 신체기능 수준은 언어․계산기능을 제외하고 전반적으로 경도의 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 배경변인별로는 학교급, 교육배치, 질병유형, 질병 이환기간의 변인에 따라 다소 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 건강장애학생의 적응유연성은 전반적으로 중간보다 낮게 나타났으며, 배경변인별로는 성별, 질병 발병시기, 질병 이환기간, 교육배치, 원적학교 등교유형의 변인에 따라 다소 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 신체기능 하위영역 간 상호 관련성은 인지기능과 감각․경험기능에서 높게 나타났고, 적응유연성 하위요인 간 상호 관련성은 가족지지와 희망에서 높게 나타났으며, 신체기능 하위영역과 적응유연성 하위요인 간의 상호 관련성은 심리․정서기능과 가족지지, 주의집중기능과 자아조절력, 인지기능과 자아조절력에서 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에 근거해서 건강장애학생의 신체기능 수준에 따른 학교생활 참여와 심리적응 강화를 위한 상담프로그램과 적응유연성 강화모델 등에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed at understanding body function and resilience of students with health impairments and providing information needed to find ways to support them. The subjects were students with health impairments(N=256) who were selected by using a simple random sampling method. Some of them were selected from 31 nationwide hospital schools, 4 on-line learning systems, and others were outpatients of the hospital or were discharged from hospital. Body function scale was based on ICF-CY. Resilience scale was developed by the researchers. After statistically analyzing collected data, the study confirmed some major results followed below. First, overall body function of students with health impairments had mild problems except language and calculation functions. Especially, the body function seemed to be affected by school grade, type of school placement, type of disease, and disease duration. Second, the overall resilience scale of students with health impairments was lower than average. Especially, the resilience scale seemed to be affected by gender, time of onset, disease duration, type of school placement, and type of school attendance. Third, there was close correlation between cognitive functions and language & calculation functions. Also, there was close correlation between family support and hope. Futhermore, there was strong correlation between psycho-motor & emotional functions and family support, focus attention functions and self-control, and cognitive functions and self-control. Based on these results, the study discussed programs and reinforcement models so that the study could help students to properly adjust to school life according to student's body function characteristics.
