지적장애학생의 자기결정, 직업준비 기술에 대한 특수교사의 인식

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 교사에게는 학생들을 위한 직업 교육을 개발 계획을 통해 성공적인 성인 생활에 지적 장애를 가진 학생들을 지도할 수 있고, 지적장애학생은 직업교육을 통해 사회에서 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 자기결정, 직업준비에 관한 설문조사를 특수교사 113명에게 실시하였다. 데이터는 t검정, Borich 요구도-실행도, The focus for the locus 등의 순서대로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 교사는 자기결정 능력과 평균 이상의 지적장애학생의 직업준비 기술의 중요성을 지각하고 있지만 평균보다 낮은 실행도를 보였다. 둘째, 자기결정 기술의 하위 영역에서 ‘수업과 관련해 다른 학생과 협의하여 문제해결이 가능하다’라는 문항이 1위로 가장 요구도 순위가 높았다. 셋째, 지적장애학생의 직업준비 기술에 대한 교사의 중요도 인식은 높았으며 전반적으로 직업준비 기술이 중요하다고 생각했으나 실행도는 중요도에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 마지막으로 직업준비 기술의 하위영역별 요구도 우선순위를 분석한 결과 공통적으로 요구가 높은 항목은 1위 직업의식의 ‘직업정보 관심이 있으며 스스로 정보를 얻고자 직접 행동하기’와 2위 사회기술의 ‘말이나 행동으로 타인에게 피해주지 않기’순으로 나타났다. 결론: 지적장애학생들을 위한 ‘문제해결’과 ‘자기옹호’에 관한 교육이 가장 필요하며, 이를 위한 교사 연수가 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 또한 지적장애학생의 작업 정확도, 양손의 민첩성 등을 길러 작업을 완수하도록 지도해야 할 것을 제안하며 자존감의 향상을 위해서 예술치료와 같은 프로그램을 적용할 수 있는 기회를 제공해야 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is that teachers have a vocational education for students who can guide students with intellectual disabilities for a successful adult life through the development plan, and intellectual disabilities can improve the quality of life in the society through vocational training is to provide the basic data. Method: In this study, self-determination, conducted a survey on vocational preparation for special education teachers 113 people. Data were analyzed as t-test, Broich needs, The focus for the locus. Result: First, the teachers were perceiving the importance of the self-determining skills and vocation preparing skills of students with intellectual disability more than average, but practicing degree lower than average. Second, the results of analyzing the priority order of requirements by sub-domains of self-determining skills indicated that the item ‘The student can solve problem by discussing with other students in class’ was the highest in requirements. Continued well-organized teaching of self-determining skills and vocation preparing skills to students with disability will lead the students to a successful adult life and improve their living quality. Conclusion: The training on ‘problem-solving’ and ‘self-advocacy’ for students with intellectual disabilities are needed. For this, the teacher training for this is thought to be necessary. And suggests that increasing the accuracy of the work of intellectual disabilities to lead with both hands and agility to get the job done. In order to enhance the self-esteem must provide the opportunity to apply the program such as art therapy.
