국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 장애인 평생교육 주체자인 수요자(참여자), 공급자(수행기관)를 대상으로 집단면담을 실시한 후 장애인 평생교육에 대한 인식의 차이를 분석하여 장애인 평생교육 발전을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 수요자는 장애인과 장애인 부모 9명, 공급자는 수행기관 담당자와 지자체 공무원 8명 등 17명을 대상으로 총 4회에 걸쳐서 초점집단 인터뷰(FGI)를 진행하였고, 연구참여자의 경험을 최대한 구체적으로 확인하고자 하였으며, 이를 통해 연구분석 결과의 타당성을 높였다. 연구결과: 연구결과 중심주제 2개와 범주 7개, 세부 하위범주 29개(수요자 및 공급자 차이 인식이 각각 7개와 8개, 수요자 및 공급자의 공통된 인식 14개)가 도출되었다. 결론: 장애인 평생교육이 활성화되고 증진되기 위해서는 지역사회 안에서 비장애인과 함께 이루어져야 하고, 전문성을 키우기 위해 끊임없이 노력해야 하며, 실질적인 예산 지원 및 일반평생교육 체계 안에서 지원체계가 마련되어야 한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 평생교육의 정책적 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present the policy implications for the development of lifelong education for the people with disabilities by analyzing differences in perceptions on lifelong education for the people with disabilities. Therefore, group interviews were conducted for consumers (participants) and suppliers (performing organizations) who were the subjects of lifelong education for the people with disabilities. Method: A total of four focus group interviews (FGI) were conducted for 17 people, including 9 persons with disabilities and parents of persons with disabilities, which were consumers, and 8 persons in charge of the implementing an agency and local government officials, which were suppliers. The study tried to confirm the experience of the research participants in as much detail as possible, and through this, the validity of the research analysis results was improved. Results: The study resulted in 2 main topics, 7 categories, and 29 sub-categories(7 and 8 perceptions of differences between consumers and suppliers, respectively, and 14 common perceptions of consumers and suppliers). Conclusion: In order to promote delete lifelong education for people with disabilities, it should be done with people without disabilities in the community, endlessly strive to develop professionalism, and a support system should be established within the practical budget support and general lifelong education system. Based on these results, the policy implications of lifelong education for the people with disabilities were discussed.
