발달장애학생의 성공적인 성인기 전환을 위한 자기결정 및 직업준비도 분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 중학교, 고등학교, 전공과 발달장애 학생의 자기결정 및 직업준비도를 구성하는 하위구인 간의 관계를 알아보고 학교급별 나타나는 자기결정 및 직업준비도의 양상을 파악함으로써 발달장애 학생의 성공적인 성인기 전환을 위하여 요구되는 기술 및 지원방안에 대한 기초자료를 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 전국에 소재한 특수학교 및 특수학급에 진학 중인 발달장애 중학생, 고등학생, 전공과 학생 총 152명(중학부 46명, 고등부 54명, 전공과 52명) 및 학생의 담임교사에게 세 개의 검사도구(SDI, AIR, ERS)를 배부 및 회수한 후 연구문제에 따라 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구의 주요 결과로 첫째, 세 개의 검사도구에 대한 F검증을 실시한 결과 SDI 검사에서는 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, AIR 및 ERS 검사에서는 학교급별 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교급별 세 개의 검사도구를 구성하는 구인에 대한 상관관계를 알아본 결과, 전반적으로 연령이 증가함에 따라 상관관계 지수가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 전체 집단에 대하여 자기결정 점수와 직업준비 점수 간의 상관관계를 알아본 결과 대부분이 분석 결과에서 두 검사 간의 상관관계가 낮거나 없음을 나타냈다. 결론: 중학교, 고등학교, 및 전공과 발달장애학생의 성공적인 성인기 전환 및 이를 위한 기초자료 마련을 위하여 학교급별로 나타나는 자기결정 및 직업준비도에서 나타나는 양상 및 그에 대한 원인을 논의하고 후속연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the basic data on the skills and support plans required for successful transition of students with developmental disabilities to identify the relation between component constructs of self-determination and job-readiness by level of schools. Method: This study was conducted for 152 individuals including adolescents and students in vocational courses with developmental disabilities and their teachers by using Self-Determination Inventory(SDI), AIR Self-Determination Scale(AIR), and Employment Readiness Scale(ERS). Results: The results of the study were as follows. First, as the results of F test on SDI and AIR across participants, there were no differences whereas ERS showed the significant differences. Second, as the results of correlation analysis on each sub-factor of SDI, AIR, and ERS, all of the participants and each group showed significant correlation coefficients among sub-factors. Lastly, as the results of correlation analysis between separate self-determination scale(SDI, AIR) and job-readiness(ERS), most of the group showed little or no relationship. Conclusion: In order to prepare the basic data for middle, high school students and the students in vocational course with their successful transition into adulthood, the study discussed the aspect and causes of self-determination and job preparation by school levels and suggested for future research.
