국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 자기결정 구성요소를 포함한 인성동화를 활용한 프로그램이 초등 특수학급 학생의 자기결정과 행복감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 충청북도 C시에 위치한 4개의 초등학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 장애학생 30명을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 15명씩 배치한 후, 실험집단에 한하여 인성동화를 활용한 프로그램을 15주 동안 총 30회기를 실시하였다. 프로그램 참여가 학생의 자기결정과 행복감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 두 집단의 자기결정, 자기결정에 대한 교사인식척도, 아동용 행복감 검사의 사전-사후 차이점수를 Mann-Whitney U 검정을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구의 주요 결과로 첫째, 자기결정 구성요소를 포함한 인성동화를 활용한 프로그램은 장애학생의 자기결정을 향상시켰다. 둘째, 자기결정 구성요소를 포함한 인성동화를 활용한 프로그램은 장애학생의 행복감을 향상시켰다. 결론: 이러한 연구결과는 자기결정 구성요소를 포함한 인성동화 프로그램이 장애학생의 자기결정과 행복감 향상에 효과적임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the personality fairy tale program that includes self-determination components on self-determination and happiness of elementary school students placed in special classes. Method: The total of 30 elementary school students placed in special classes in Chungcheongbukdo district participated in the study: 15 students were placed in the experimental group and the other 15 were in the control group. This program was implemented for 15 weeks (30 sessions) only for the experimental group. To evaluate the effects of the developed program on the students’ outcomes, the pre-post test scores (SDS, SDTPS, Happiness) of the two groups were analyzed by using the Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The results of the study were as follows. First, the personality fairy tale program that embeds self-determination components improved the students’ self-determination in the experimental group. Second, the personality fairy tale program that includes self-determination components improved happiness scores of students in the experimental group. Conclusion: These results indicate that the personality fairy tale program that includes self-determination components positively influenced self-determination and happiness of elementary students with intellectual disability.
