교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 한 스마트 교육 효과성에 대한 체계적 메타분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 한 스마트 교육 중재의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구방법: 최근 9년간 출간된 국내 학술지 논문 중 교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 스마트 교육을 실시한 집단과 통제집단을 비교한 연구 17편(k=48)을 대상으로 코딩을 수행하고 메타분석을 실시한 뒤, 조절변인을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 한 스마트 교육의 평균 효과크기는 Hedges'g=.89로 매우 높은 효과 크기를 보였다. 또한, 장애특성, 중재방법, 중재영역, 중재자, 집단유형, 중재기간, 중재시간에 따른 교육사각지대 학습자 대상 스마트 교육 중재에 유의미한 효과 차이가 제시되었다. 한편, 학년, 장애 유형, 중재장소에 따른 효과크기의 차이는 보고되지 않았다. 결론: 교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 한 스마트 교육 중재는 유의미한 효과가 나타났다. 연구 결과에 따라 교육사각지대 학습자를 대상으로 스마트 교육 중재의 효과성을 높이기 위한 고려사항 및 지원방안에 대한 논의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of smart education interventions for at-risk learners by using meta-analysis method. Method: The present study collected group design studies sought of smart education for at-risk learners from 2011 to 2020. Total 17 pretest-posttest control group design studies were included, along with 48 effect sizes. Results: The results showed that the overall weighted effect size (Hedges'g) for all studies was 0.878 (95% confidence interval = 0.697, 1.059), indicating a significant large effect. Subgroup analyses revealed that those factors, characteristics of disabilities, intervention method, domain of intervention, intervenor, group types, duration and time, were influencing the effect size on the effect of smart education for at-risk learners. However, there were no significant differences according to participant’s age, types of disabilities, and areas of intervention. Conclusion: Smart education interventions significantly have an effect on at-risk learners. The effects of intervention varies depending on several conditions. Further implication for future research and intervention in order to enhance the effectiveness of smart education intervention for at-risk learners are discussed.
