예비특수교사의 통합교육 현장실습 경험 분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 통합교육 장면에서의 현장실습을 통해 예비특수교사들이 무엇을 경험하고 배우는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구방법: 광주지역 N대학에서 초등특수교육과 1학년을 대상으로 개설된 현장실습2 수강생 가운데 통합교육 현장(특수학급, 일반학급)에서 현장실습을 수행한 17명의 반성적 저널을 질적으로 분석하였다. 예비특수교사들 17명은 광주지역 3개 초등학교에서 13주간 매주 1회 3시간씩 장애학생의 수업보조로 참여하였다. 연구결과: 분석결과 특수교육에 대한 이해, 통합교육 발전을 위한 과제에 대한 인식, 특수교사가 되기 위한 준비의 3개의 핵심주제와 8개의 하위 영역을 도출하였다. 결론: 통합교육 현장실습을 통해 일학년 예비특수교사들은 기존 현장실습을 통해 얻을 수 있는 이점과 함께 추가적으로 통합교육을 위한 자질을 함양할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate what preservice special education teachers learned through practicum experiences in the inclusive educational settings. Method: Research participants were 17 students who took Pre-practicum2 opened for the freshmen of elementary special education at N University in Gwangju. 17 reflective journals on experiences in the inclusive educational settings were analyzed qualitatively. 17 special preservice teachers participated in class support activities for students with disabilities for three hours once a week for 13 weeks at 3 elementary schools. Results: As the result of the analysis, three core themes and eight sub-areas were derived: understanding of special education, recognition of tasks for the development of inclusive education, and preparation for a special education teacher. Conclusion: Through the practicum experiences in inclusive education, freshmen preservice special education teachers were able to cultivate the qualities for inclusive education in addition to the benefits that they could obtain from the existing practicums.
