국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 지역사회에서 발달장애인이 평생교육을 실현하는 데에 발달장애인 평생교육지원센터가 해야 할 역할을 명확히 하고 그에 따른 올바른 운영방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 장애인 평생교육분야의 전문가와 장애인 시설 운영자, 발달장애인 부모를 중심으로 초점집단면담을 실행하여 연구 자료를 질적분석하였다. 연구결과: 연구 결과를 통해 세 집단이 인식하고 있는 발달장애인 평생교육지원센터의 역할 및 운영 방향에 대한 공통점과 차별적 특징을 도출하였다. 공통적 인식은 3개의 대주제, 11개의 소주제, 44개의 의미단위가 도출되었고, 집단별 고유한 인식은 전체 합하여 12개의 대주제와 46개의 소주제, 105개의 의미단위가 분석되었다. 특히 기존 기관들과의 차별성에 대한 쟁점, 평생교육 차원에서 어떠한 지향점과 실제적 역할을 발달장애인 평생교육지원센터가 수행해야 하는지에 대한 쟁점 등이 부각되었다. 결론: 연구 결과를 바탕으로 발달장애인 평생교육지원센터의 정체성과 지향점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to clarify the roles of the Lifelong Education Support Center for the people with developmental disabilities in realizing lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities in the local communitise and to explore the correct operation plans accordingly. Method: For this purpose, the focus group interview was conducted with experts in the field of lifelong education for the people with disabilities, facility operators for the people with disabilities, and parents with developmental disabilities, and the research data were analyzed qualitatively. Results: Through the results of the study, the common and differentiated characteristics of the roles and operation direction of the Lifelong Education Support Center for people with developmental disabilities recognized by the three groups were derived. For common recognition, three major themes, 11 sub-themes, and 44 semantic units were derived, and 12 major themes, 46 sub-themes, and 105 semantic units were analyzed in total for the unique recognition of each group. In particular, the issue of differentiation from the existing institutions and the issue of what direction and practical role the Lifelong Education Support Center for people with developmental disabilities should perform in terms of lifelong education were highlighted. Conclusion: Based on the research results, the identity and direction of the Lifelong Education Support Center for the Developmental Disabilities were suggested.
