국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 COVID-19로 인한 기술교과 원격수업 현황과 기술교사들의 인식을 분석하여 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기술교과 원격수업을 경험한 기술교사를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 122부의 자료를 분석 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술교사가 가장 많이 활용하는 원격수업 유형은 콘텐츠 활용 중심 수업이었으며, 가장 많이 활용하는 플랫폼은 EBS 온라인 클래스였다. 둘째, 기술교사가 느끼는 원격수업의 어려움은 학생들의 원격수업 준비 부족과 원격수업 진행을 위한 물리적 환경 부족이었다. 셋째, 기술교사들은 기술교과 원격수업 개선을 위해 가장 시급한 과제로 수업용 플랫폼 개발이라 응답하였으 며, 원격수업에 가장 적합한 기술교과 영역은 통신기술로 인식하고 있었다. 넷째, 기술교사들은 자신의 원격수업에 대해 대체로 만족하고 있었으며, 사용하고 있는 원격 수업 플랫폼에 대해서도 대체로 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 원격수업에 관한 교육부 및 교육청의 지침에 대해서는 부정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 이 연구의 결과는 기술 교과 원격수업의 전략과 이슈에 대한 시사점을 제공하며, 향후 기술 교과 원격수업의 개선 방향에 대한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to determine the current status of online education for technology teacher sin the context of online start-up due to COVID 19. To accomplish the purpose of this study, data from 122 technology teachers were collected in October using online survey. The online instrument examined the current status of online technology classes by technology teachers, and collected data were analyzed through the SPSS. The results of the study are as follows. First, the platform most frequently used by technology teachers in online technology classes due to COVID 19 was the ‘EBS online class’ and technology teachers used content utilization-oriented teaching methods the most for online technology classes. Second, the difficulty of online classes felt by technology teachers was mostly students’ lack of preparation for online classes, and they were found to be having difficulty with the physical environment and support. Third, technology teachers were generally satisfied with online instruction and online platforms they were using. On the other hand, they are dissatisfied with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and the Office of Educaton regarding online instruction. This study could be a basic data on the future direction and studies of improving online classes in technology education. In addition, continuous discussion and studies on online teaching strategies and issues in technology education are needed.
