발달장애 청소년 자녀를 둔 어머니의 문제행동 대처경험 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애 청소년의 문제 행동에 대한 발달장애 청소년 자녀를둔 어머니의 문제행동 대처 경험을 심층적으로 탐색하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 발달장애 청소년 자녀를 둔 어머니 6명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하여 그 내용을 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하였으며, 그 결과, 52개의 의미단위, 23개의 하위 범주, 6개의 상위 범주를 도출 하였다. 발달장애 청소년을 둔 어머니들의 문제행동 대처 경험으로부터 도출한 6개의 상위범주는 ‘문제행동의 심화’, ‘문제행동 심화의 원인’, ‘문제행동 대처를 돕는 긍정적 요인’, ‘더 나은 삶을 위한 개인적 자원’, ‘더 나은 삶을 위한 사회적 지원’으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의한 후, 상담 및 교육의 실제를 위한 시사점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted for an in-depth understanding of problem-coping experiences of mothers who raised developmental disabled adolescents. For this purpose, interview with 6 mothers who had experiences on parenting and problem-coping with developmental disabled adolescents were conducted and the data were analyzed using Giorgi s method of psychological phenomenology. As a result of the analysis, 52 meaning units, 23 subcategories, and 6 upper categories were drawn. Especially, 6 upper categories which generated with mothers who had experienced problem-coping with developmental disabled adolescents were intensifying problem behavior , underlying causes of problem behavior , positive factors for enhancing problem-coping , personal supports for better life , and social resources for better life . Based on these results, this study proposed discussions and suggestions.
