홀리즘에 근거한 STEAM 교육과정 재검토

국문 초록

이 연구는 현행 2009교육과정에 도입되어 초중등 교육 현장에서 실시되고 있는 STEAM 교육 프로그램의 한계점을 분석하고, 그 보완책으로 홀리스틱 교육철학에 근거한 STEAM 교육과정의 재구성을 예시하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 우리나라에서 지속적으로 실시되어 오고 있는 통합교육과정의 이론적 배경과 각 교육과정별 통합교육과정의 역사를 분석하였다. 또한 STEAM의 선행 모델인 미국의 STEM 교육과정을 분석하였다. 나아가 현행 STEAM 교육과정의 한계점을 극복하기 위한 대안으로 홀리스틱 교육철학에 기초한 STEAM 교육과정의 재구성 모형을 제시하였다. 새로운 STEAM 교육과정 개발모형으로 KDB 교육과정 개발모형과 교육과정 역설계의 원리(backward design)를 적용하여 STEAM과 홀리스틱 교육철학이 결합된 모형을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 홀리스틱 교육철학에 근거한 새로운 STEAM 교육과정 재구성 모델을 통해 낮은 단계의 통합수준에서 벗어나 영성적 깨달음을 얻어 전일성을 추구할 수 있는 높은 수준의 통합교육과정을 구성하였다. 나아가 근대의 진선미와 근대이전의 영성을 통합할 수 있는 융합교육모형을 적용하여 전일성을 갖출 수 있는 교육의 기회를 제공하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the limitations of STEAM education program introduced in '2009 curriculum'. The current STEAM curriculum must be implemented in Reconstruction of STEAM curriculum Based on a holistic philosophy. we propose a reorganization of the STEAM curriculum based on the holistic philosophy with its complement. Because we analyze the theoretical background and history of each specific curriculum integrated curriculum that is coming is carried out in the country on an ongoing basis. In addition, it presents an analysis of the preceding model, the STEM curriculum in the United States. Furthermore, STEAM curriculum model based on holistic educational philosophy offer the alternative to overcome the limitations of the STEAM curriculum applied the principles of curriculum development and curriculum model with KDB and backward design model was developed to present the combined model of holistic philosophy and STEAM. high-level steps away from the low level of integration that can be achieved through the pursuit of transpersonal psychology models of integrated curriculum based on holistic philosophy. this training by applying the convergence model that can be integrated with pre-modern spirituality of modern truthㆍgoodnessㆍbeauty. This model provide educational opportunities that can equip spirituality.
