국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 포트폴리오 평가를 활용한 유아 수학 프로그램이 유아의 수학적 개념에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전북 J시에 소재하고 있는 어린이집에서 만 5세반 두 반을 연구대상으로 선정했다. 한 학급은 실험집단(15명)으로 또 다른 학급은 통제집단(15명)으로 임의 배정하였다. 포트폴리오 평가를 활용한 유아 수학 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서, 관련문헌을 고찰한 후 시안을 보다 구체적으로 구성하고, 내용 타당도 검증, 수정 및 보완의 과정을 거쳐 최종 프로그램을 개발하였다. 실험집단에게는 12주 동안 총 20회의 활동(학습일지작성 3회, 유아 및 또래 논평자료 작성 5회 포함) 프로그램을 적용하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사에서 수학적 개념 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 포트폴리오 평가를 활용한 유아 수학 프로그램은 유아의 수학적 개념 총점과 하위 요인 대수, 수와 연산, 기하에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects on the mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment on young children’s mathematical concepts. We appointed 30 children aged 5 who were enrolled in two classes at two day care centers located in G city, Jeollabuk-do. One class was assigned to the experimental group (15 children) and the other to the control group (15 children). To construct the mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment, this study was conducted using the following three steps: reviewing and analyzing relevant literature on mathematics education for children, constructing a mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment, and verifying the program by content validity.ationexperimental group was involved in the mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment designed by the researcher for 20 activities during a 12 week period. In order to examine the mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment, a mathematical concepts test was used as a pre-study test and post-study test. The mathematics education program for young children using portfolio assessment had a positive effect on children’s mathematical concepts total score and sub-components of mathematical concepts (algebra, number and operation, geometry).
