국문 초록

본 연구는 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법이 초등학생의 국어과 학업성취도와 학습동기 향상에 미치는 효과를 밝히려는데 그 목적이 있으며 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법을 국어과 수업에 적용하면 초등학생의 학업성취도를 향상시키는 것으로 밝혀졌다 둘째, 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법을 국어과 수업에 적용하면 초등학생의 학습동기를 향상시키는 것으로 밝혀졌다 셋째, 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법의 적용 결과 학습 수준별(상·중·하)에 따른 파지효과는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 이상의 연구 결과는 초등학교 국어과 수업에서 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법을 적용하면다양한 학습능력 집단(상·중·하)의 학생 모두에게 적용할 수 있으며 궁극적으로 학업성취도와학습동기를 향상시킬 수 있다는 것이다. 기억술을 활용한 스키마 학습법을 교실수업에 적용하기 위해 다양한 프로그램 개발, 다양한형태의 수업전략 및 모형개발이 병행된다면 국어과 수업에서 초등학생의 학업성취도와 학습동기를 향상시킬 수 있는 획기적인 전환점이 될 것이다

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to find the effect of Schema-learning, which uses mnemonics, on elementary school students' achievement and motivation Korean language. It has the following result. First, it found that applying Schema-learning, which uses mnemonics, to Korean language lesson improved the class work achievement of elementary school students. Second, it found that applying Schema-learning, which uses mnemonics, to Korean language lesson improved the study motivation of elementary school students. Third, when applying Schema-learning, which uses mnemonics, there wasn't meaningful difference in its effect on each level (high, middle, low). The above result shows that Schema-learning can be applied to each level of students (high, middle, low) and can ultimately improve their class work achievement and motivation to study. It is believed that through many studying strategies of Schema-learning the students could understand and activate their schema. The teachers could find and strengthen the schema that students lacked in. Then the students were believed to improve their recognition and memory on what they learnt. It found the schema of students according to their experience and knowledge based on their levels. The classroom lesson and course was differently processed considering the levels of students. If it develops various programs, class work strategies and models to apply Schema-learning to classroom lessons, it could be a turning point to improve Korean language class work achievement and motivation of elementary school students.
