디지털 교과서 연구동향 분석(2009–2025): 핀란드·덴마크 정책 전환과 비교를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 2009년 이후 국내 디지털교과서 관련 학술논문 214편의 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통해 연구동향을 파악하고 비판적으로 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 시기별 연구동향은 도입기(2010년 이전), 확장기(2011-2015년), 심화기(2016-2020년), 혁신기(2021-2025년)로 구분하였고, 중심성 분석과 Clauset-Newman-Moore 알고리즘을 적용한 클러스터 분석을 실시하여 다음과 같이 연구 결과를 확인하였다. 첫째, 디지털교과서 연구는 교육정책 변화와 유의미한 상관관계를 보이며 정책 의존적 구조를 형성하고 있었다. 둘째, 중심성 분석에서는 ‘디지털교과서’를 중심으로 한 방사형 구조가 발견되었으며, 주제 간 직접적 연계가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 키워드 클러스터 분석 결과, 학습 효과성(G1), 기술적 구현(G2), 교육과정 및 정책(G3), 특수교육 및 접근성(G4), AI 기반 디지털교과서(G5)의 5개 연구 영역이 도출되었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 기술 중심적 접근의 한계를 지적하고, 핀란드와 덴마크의 정책 전환 사례를 참고하여 교육 가치 중심의 연구 패러다임 전환, 융합연구 활성화, 교사의 실행력과 현장 적용성 강화를 위한 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to identify and critically examine research trends through keyword network analysis of 214 academic papers related to digital textbooks in Korea since 2009. The research trends by period were classified into the introduction period (before 2010), expansion period (2011-2015), deepening period (2016-2020), and innovation period (2021-2025). Centrality analysis and cluster analysis using the Clauset-Newman-Moore algorithm were conducted, yielding the following research findings. First, digital textbook research showed a significant correlation with changes in educational policy, forming a policy-dependent structure. Second, centrality analysis revealed a radial structure centered on ‘digital textbooks’, with insufficient direct linkages between topics. Third, keyword cluster analysis identified five research areas: learning effectiveness (G1), technical implementation (G2), curriculum and policy (G3), special education and accessibility (G4), and AI-based digital textbooks (G5). Based on these analytical results, this study points out the limitations of technology-centered approaches and presents practical recommendations for a paradigm shift toward education value-centered research, activation of interdisciplinary research, and enhancement of teachers' implementation capacity and field applicability, with reference to policy transition cases in Finland and Denmark.
