국문 초록

4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래와 함께 수학의 사회적·문화적 가치에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으나, 여전히 수학은 대중에게 어렵고 추상적인 학문으로 인식되는 한계를 안고 있다. 수학문화 콘텐츠는 수학에 대한 심리적 거리감을 줄이고 흥미와 접근성을 높이는 주요 수단으로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 국내 수학문화 콘텐츠는 기관 별로 개별적으로 개발·운영되고 있으며, 이로 인한 콘텐츠의 질적 편차, 지역 간 격차, 정책 연계성 부족 등 확산 구조에 있어 여러 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하고 수학문화 콘텐츠의 지속가능한 확산을 실현하기 위해 플랫폼 기반의 생태계 모델을 중심으로 한 표준화 전략을 제안한다. 전문가 인터뷰와 AHP 기반 설문조사를 통해 수학문화 콘텐츠 확산을 위한 플랫폼 유형을 분석하고, 가장 적합한 운영 모델로 ‘기관 간 협업형 혼합 모델’을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 단기·중기·장기별 정책 로드맵 마련을 위한 기반을 제시하고, 표준화된 콘텐츠 개발 가이드라인과 인증·평가 제도의 필요성을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 수학문화 콘텐츠의 품질관리, 지역 간 형평성 제고, 민관 협력 기반 구축 등을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제공하며, 향후 수학문화 콘텐츠 분야에서의 제도적 기반 마련 및 법·제도 정비 방향에 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is growing attention to the social and cultural value of mathematics. However, mathematics is still perceived by the public as an abstract and difficult subject. To bridge this gap, mathematical culture content has emerged as an effective tool to foster accessibility and interest in mathematics. Despite its potential, current mathematical culture content in Korea is developed and managed in a fragmented manner across different institutions, leading to disparities in quality, regional imbalance, and lack of policy integration. This study proposes a platform-based standardization strategy to establish a sustainable diffusion model for mathematical culture content. Based on expert interviews and an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) survey, the study identifies a collaborative mixed-platform model as the most suitable structure for content dissemination. Aphased policy roadmap—covering short-, mid-, and long-term stages—is presented, along with guidelines for content development and recommendations for certification and evaluation systems. The findings offer critical policy implications for enhancing content quality, reducing regional disparities, and building a governance system that supports public-private collaboration. Ultimately, this study contributes to laying the institutional foundation for the nationwide diffusion of mathematical culture content.
