어머니의 양육스트레스와 후속 출산 계획 간 양육지원제도 이용 여부의 조절효과: 한국영유아교육‧보육패널 1차 데이터를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 양육스트레스와 후속 출산 계획 간 양육지원제도 이용 여부의 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국영유아교육·보육패널 1차년도 데이터 중 어머니용 패널 데이터 2,850개를 분석하였다. SPSS 29.0를 사용하여 분석한 결과 어머니의 양육스트레스와 후속 출산 계획 간 관계에서 양육지원제도 이용 여부에 따라 유의미한 조절효과가 나타났으며, 양육지원제도를 이용한 경우 양육스트레스가 후속 출산 계획에 미치는 부적 영향이 상대적으로 완화되었다. 이러한 결과는 어머니의 양육스트레스와 후속 출산 계획 간의 관계에서 양육지원제도 이용 여부의 역할의 대한 것을 밝혀냈다는 것에 대해 의의가 있으며, 출산율 제고를 위한 양육지원제도 이용 확대 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the moderating effect of childcare support system utilization on maternal parenting stress and subsequent childbearing plans. This study analyzed the panel data of 2,850 mothers who participated as respondents to the Korean Infant Education and Child Care Panel in its first year. Analysis was performed in SPSS 29.0. The results showed significant moderating effect of child support system utilization on the relationship between maternal parenting stress and subsequent childbearing plans. Additionally child upport system utilization mitigated the negative effect of parenting stress on subsequent childbearing plans. The significance of these findings lies in the revelation of the role of child support system utilization among mothers in the relationship between parenting stress and subsequent childbearing plans. Based on these findings, this paper suggests that promoting child support system utilization may improve fertility.
